@Georgous, i’ve moved your post here and as you’ll see a discussion on the book has running for a while. Hope this suits – and i have the right book.
Should clarify.
Georgous’s post was the first in a new thread, the title was ‘The Fifth Beatle : The Brian Epstein Story’ and her question ran straight off of that.

After hearing an interview with Vivek Tiwary on a podcast, I ordered this on Amazon. It’s a graphic novel portraying Brian Epstein from 1961 through his death and it is really terrific. There are factual issues – this is intended as entertainment, not biography – there are invented characters and dialogue which will frustrate anyone looking for a strict, factual biography. But it’s visually stunning, the narrative is compelling and it is very clearly a labor of love.
Brian was, more than anything else, a supremely ethical and civilized businessman. There are few men like him in the history of the music industry – men who treated artists with respect and love and never took a dime to which they were not entitled. He was a true hero, in my estimation, and his death sowed the seeds for the eventual breakup of the Beatles.
In any event, the story will make a terrific movie, and I understand the author is working on a screenplay based on this material.
Definitely recommended as long as you can tolerate artistic license in the pursuit of a story that is well worth telling.

I only recently found out about this book in a local comic store and I had to buy it. Can’t believe I didn’t know about it sooner!
@Pablo Ramon When I was reading it I thought it would make an amazing film. I like how they touched on Brian’s life in Birth of the Beatles, but a full film about Brian would be well worth the watch! I’ve also heard The Hours and Times is good too but I have yet to watch it.

It was being developed as a film, but that fell through. The last news was that it is now being planned as an “event TV series”.

It’s confirmed that it’s “in development.” Business-wise I don’t know what that means in itself, whether any outlet has expressed interest. Creatively I think it means that scripts are being written.
