My copy of the Extended has arrived, and is almost with me. (It was ordered via a friend as I don’t do credit cards!) It will be dropped off later this evening, or first thing tomorrow! Yay!

I’m in a dilemma whether I should buy studybooks first or this book. I’ve actually seen it in a bookstore and read a couple of pages and now I KNOW what I’m missing and I really can’t live without this book. No.

Inderdad leuk om hier een andere Nederlander tegen te komen. Ik heb het boek bij Amazon.co.uk besteld. Heb er 74 pond voor betaald. Zie dat-ie nu 120 pond kost. Zou The Hive proberen. Daar is-ie geloof ik een stuk goedkoper.

Can people please remember that the language of this forum is English! It is a common language to all here. Do not be surprised if, in future, a response made entirely in a language other than English is deleted. The idea of this forum is for all members to be able to communicate with each other, and to comment on what all have had to say. That cannot be done if the vast majority of the community do not understand the language.

To follow on from this, although I don’t really have a problem with non-English posts, they do exclude a lot of people from understanding and responding. If it’s a private conversation it is better, as mja says, to chat via PM. But I really don’t have a problem with, as in this case, the occasional side-note to someone in another language.
The basic rule of this forum is don’t be obnoxious (note: I’m not applying that term to anyone here). So chat away freely, but if it’s to the detriment of the majority then it’s not really fair. Hope that’s OK!

Offline Fricken’ hell. At this rate previously undiscovered tribes buried deep in the middle of nowhere with the only access via a 36 month journey thru treacherous waters and rival communities who fire poisonous darts at anything that moves will be getting their copies before those who ordered from Hive. How can it take a company based in the UK 3 weeks longer to get a book available to customers in the UK than every other company thru-out the Universe?

Offline The Deluxe Extended has gone up to it’s full rrp. of £120 on Amazon. That’s unusual for them – I wonder if this is a reflection of a (naively) limited stock/print run.
