The only thing I noticed which could maybe be improved, is that the recording sounds very soft and a bit muted whereas the original is brighter, shinier and also a little sharper (not regarding being in tune) IMO. But I bet that has got something to do with the microphone, hasn’t it?
Yeah, probably.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback*!

Oops. Try this one.
Wow, that was stunning. Great job, @Beatlebug ! One thing I would say though is, whilst I’m not criticising your singing, you should play around with vocal production to tailor each song you’re covering. On this song I would have brought the vocals a bit higher in the mix and made them as solid sounding as possible, and on the recording really given it your all.

Beatlebug, sigh butterflyI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I would have, too, except that I recorded the vocals and the lead guitar on the same track. If I did it again (which I might — you never know ), I’d devote separate tracks to each guitar part and vocals as I did on ‘Smile’ above.

To refresh your ears after the above crapness…
HAVE some MULTITRACKED GLORIES
This one has rhythm guitar, ‘bass’ (actually a second guitar playing a bassline, because I don’t have a bass — yet ), slide guitar, and two vocal tracks. Getting to hear all the pieces together is absolutely AMAZING to me I’m very proud o’ this one.

That reminds me of a better executed Sun King . So relaxing, so awesome. Meditative is a better word, I think.
And how good do the multitracks sound??

Well this is technically a parody and not so much a cover but I’d done this a couple of years ago just using softsynth instruments and decided to remaster with guitars and bass:
It’s a parody of a rude song by a favourite band about people who buy jpegs of ships for Star Citizen, just poking fun. Left side is fuzz guitar, right side is overdriven guitar, makes a nice warm sound.
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.
