I wish to add my supergroup: Yoko Ono on vocals/knitting
I’d just put her on knitting…..But tell her she’s playing ‘lead knitting……’
Jokes aside…
I’d have Peter Green Vocals /lead guitar.
John Lennon Vocals and rhythm guitar.
Stevie Winwood Keyboards/everything
John Paul Jones bass
Phil Collins Drums.
Or this supergroup group from 1967
Helps to be English British…And for once, as old as I am.

Bonzo Dog Doo Dah band…..’As English as tuppence’
It’s known Paul played Supergroup bass on ‘Urban Spaceman’……
And here another Supergroup of sorts The Sean Head Showband on Labio Dental Fricative……(You can’t say the ‘F’ word without one)…….A silly song but…
Eric Clapton provides some perky country accompaniment, that’s reminiscent to me of Octopuses’ garden …..but he can’t help himself and adds quite a dramatic solo (one of my favourite bridges of all time)……that transitions neatly back to perky in this little known song…….For that alone worth a few minutes of your day.

My ideal supergroup is the Beatles, of course, but here’s my non-Beatle supergroup:
David Bowie: Vocals/guitar
Eric Clapton: Guitar
Klaus Voormann: Bass
Jim Keltner: Drums
Nicky Hopkins: Piano/keyboard

I think that group would do a cracking Station To Station.

Would love to hear their Peaches and Diesel. They would lay down a rippin Suffragette City as well. Maybe a cover as well?

I wonder if Bowie has ever covered the New York Dolls. That band could do a good Personality Crisis.
