I had this dream a couple days ago, and I figured I should post it here instead of the “Beatles Dreams” thread I just the discovered, because it does not contain the actual Beatles.

It was my brother’s friend’s birthday, which was at this weird water park. The friend’s parents were going to be out of town, so I got put in charge of making sure at least ten nine-year-olds didn’t drown, and I’m not a very good swimmer. Luckily, the park was really small and I could pretty much see the whole thing from any given point. Before I’d come, I’d done a ton a research on the water park and found out that there was a “mystery hole” in the bottom of one of the pools. I had no idea what a “mystery hole” was, so I forgot about it. While I was at the park, my job was to follow the kids around while baking a cake (I’m not really sure how that would work, but somehow I managed). They were all running towards this big slide, and there were so many people there I lost track of them. I started to freak out, but then I looked down at the bottom of the pool and saw a sign that said “eels this way.” I immediately leaped into the pool (I had my clothes on, and I don’t know what I was thinking, because I hate getting unexpectedly wet).

I had to squirm through a ton of people in order to get into the hole, but I eventually made it. I was so exited to see actual eels that weren’t in an aquarium that I had completely forgotten I was supposed to be keeping a bunch nine-year-olds from drowning. When I made it to the bottom of the tunnel, I was in a kind of water-filled sewer with a bunch of creepy rubber ducks floating in the current. I didn’t see any eels, and I was starting to get really nervous. The sewer was sloping up, and eventually there was no more water. For some reason, I kept walking, and then I turned a corner and saw the George in @50yearslate’s avatar! I was so exited I forgot about the eels and the kids! To make sure, I asked him if he was actually George, and he said, in what I imagine Fiddy’s voice to sound like, “no! It’s me, Fiddy. I’m going to kidnap you now.” So I said, “where are the eels?” And she said, “there are no eels! I knew you would come down here if I said there were.” Then I started giggling uncontrollably for no reason, I when I woke up, I was still laughing. When I processed the dream, I was slightly confused, because Fiddy is the last person I would ever expect to kidnap me.

My brother’s birthday is in two weeks, though, and he’s having a sleepover with eight other kids…

I’m just… speechless. That’s amazing. Also, I’m sorry for kidnapping you and promising you eels when I had none. I hope you’ll forgive me.

I’m curious; what do you imagine my voice to sound like?

I imagine you as sort of sounding like one of my friends when she isn’t being annoying (which pretty much never happensa-hard-days-night-george-10).

Interestingly enough, I did the 16 personalities test last night and got INFP which the website said is the same as Björk, so maybe you’re not too far off @50yearslate a-hard-days-night-george-10

Apologies for the double post, but Fiddy’s status as a hardcore Beatles Bibler shortly, since she’s only 4 posts behind trcanberra on the leaderboard.

@AppleScruffJunior, you and I were dorm roommates at uni. I was graduating, and you had just finished your first year. It was a Friday night, and I was supposed to be leaving to drive home, finished for good, but I decided I’d give the room a good cleaning before I left. I kept cleaning and cleaning and cleaning. Finally, I called my mom and told her to drive to campus and bring Sacher Torte because I knew I wouldn’t finish cleaning that night. I told her I didn’t have to turn my dorm key in until Sunday. We could clean more on Saturday, and I would take her out for a nice dinner for helping me. I told her Sacher Torte could stay in the dorm room while we went to eat. It must have been really hot because the reason I wanted Sacher to stay in the room was because it was air conditioned. I guess you had already flown the coop for the semester. You weren’t actually in the dream.

The room had bunk beds. You had the bottom bunk. The bunk beds looked like this.

That’s funny — a few days ago I also dreamt of @AppleScruffJunior. She was making me write a message to a long-estranged BBer that she was trying to contact (I had no idea who this person was), and everyone was getting mad at me because I didn’t understand the message and I ended up painting the wrong message in the air in the streets of New York City. ahdn_paul_01a-hard-days-night-paul-10

Oooh I feel popular! Me taking the bottom bunk sounds right, if you’re in the top bunk the bed shakes every time the person below you moves. I wish I were just finishing first year, then with what I know now, I’d know to have got a sick note for my econ exam in 1st semester of 2nd year so I wouldn’t have ended up failing it, and would have got a 1:1 in 2nd year, instead of a 2:1- blah.

I also love how I couldn’t be bothered writing my own message in Bebu’s dream, go Bebu why don’t you do my work for me?!? 😉

You said your handwriting was too rubbish so you made me do it — my handwriting is also rubbish most of the time, but I am capable of writing non-rubbishly, so you told me to write this message in my best handwriting. a-hard-days-night-john-6
