No, knowing it is Daniel is good enough, though it was fairly obvious.
I think this new account should be banned, even though I still think it is pretty funny, because the username is ridiculously long and would break the forum. Daniel should stay IMO, whether Joe/whoever agrees is another matter. You just need to realise that he isn't as stupid as he pretends to be and he doesn't do any harm.
