Offline I live in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I am originally from Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada, but have called Edmonton home for about 15 years now.
What’s famous about Edmonton??? Ummmm? The Edmonton Oilers – when we had Wayne Gretzky and West Edmonton Mall. Otherwise, we are known for our long, cold winters!

Offline I was born in Memphis, TN. which is famous for: Elvis, Sun Studios, Beale Street, BB King, and unfortunately the assassination of MLK, Jr.
When I was 2, we moved to Southaven, Mississippi, a suburb of Memphis. Southaven is famous for: John Grisham. He graduated a few years ahead of me and his younger sister. His law office was in Southaven. I lived in Southaven and taught school in Memphis for 5 years after graduating from college.
Lived for 1.5 years in Hattiesburg, Mississippi while working on my MLIS. Brett Favre played football for the University of Southern Mississippi. Again, like with Grisham, I am just a few years too young to have been there when Favre was throwing the football for the Golden Eagles.
Now, I am a librarian in Lawton, OK. Lawton is the “Home of the Field Artillery” for the U.S. Army. I’ve learned to tune out all of the booming that goes on around here. We had a small earthquake a few years back, but at first we all just thought it was missile practice.

Just outside a small town on the the very cusp of North Ayrshire bordering on Renfrewshire, above a lovely loch (if I say anymore people will be able to google the house and know when no one is in). My brother stays somewhere in Edinburgh, I forget where but its not far from the airport. Then again a lot of other people also stay in Edinburgh, being the big place it is.
