I live in Macedonia. Something interesting: Have you heard of Alexander The Great?

Which band did he play bass for? I remember something about him conquering the world, you know, like The Beatles did. a-hard-days-night-george-10

The Killers with Swords? :D Hm, that might not be too horrible of a band name.
Yes, something like that. That pretty much sums up all anyone would know about Macedonia.

I think I may have answered this ages ago…  but I live in British Columbia, Canada.

Everyone knows Vancouver, right?  Well I’m on the island just to the left of it:

Love it here.  heart

"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been..  I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene..  Banjos!  Banjos!  All the time, I can't forget that tune..  and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

As you can tell from my location on the side (which I might change) I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the US. Home of the Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers.

Edit: Yeah, I changed it to a Beatles related location.

Interesting town; last time I was there a pigeon decided to do its ‘business’ on my head – the day got better and we had a nice lunch on a retired lighthouse boat at Cardiff Bay.  My kids loved the big water ‘thingie’ there as they had seen it in an episode of Dr. Who.

Hi YKMN, yes I also live in Cardiff (I’ve been here since 1995, originally from Bath). About to move to the tree-lined streets of Penylan (is in my ears and in my eyes). Where are you based?

Can buy me love! Please consider supporting the Beatles Bible on Amazon
Or buy my paperback/ebook! Riding So High – The Beatles and Drugs

Don't miss The Bowie Bible – now live!

Ahhh Girl heart‘s this. You two should get together and have a Beatles chat over tea.

Penylan. Enjoy that address. Way cool. You should get one of these to hang in your yard.

Sure I’ve answered before, but why not again? I’m from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, very very close to the big city with the world-famous crack-smoking mayor.

GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

One of Amazon.ca’s fulfillment centers is in Mississauga, Ontario, which is very close to you. Could you pop over there and rummage around in their warehouse and find trcanberra that Dylan box set so they will ship it out to him?

I live in Seattle, Washington. Whenever I walk past the Edgewater Hotel, I always tell whomever I’m with (or think to myself): “That’s where the Beatles fished from their window.” Here’s the story for anyone who cares to read it:

http://www.seattlepi.com/local…..305857.php

The Edgewater Hotel is built on a pier over Elliott Bay, which is very deep and is home to the world’s largest octopus species. I wonder if, while the Beatles were fishing out of their hotel window, Ringo maybe hooked an octopus, inspiring his future song. Probably not. :)

I was in Seattle in 2004. I looked at that hotel and took a picture of it. I did read about how people would fish from the windows. But, I didn’t know the Beatles yet. Oh, well, at least I have the memory of seeing the hotel and the photo I can look at. Thanks for putting all that together for me, Bungalow Bob. apple01heartapple01

You are quite welcome, Ahhh Girl. I hope you enjoyed your Seattle visit. Here’s a youtube video with some scenes of the Beatles at The Edgewater Hotel: the video also shows the Beatles landing at the Seattle airport, where I happen to work across the street:

Ah yes, the famous Edgewater. We Led Zeppelin/Frank Zappa fanatics are surely familiar with it!
