That's quite impressive,  also taken into account that Russian, Greek and Japanese all have different “alphabets” to learn

English and a good chunk of French. That's due to my Canadian nationality. xD

All day long I'm sitting singing songs for everyone.

I speak English, with the occasional Southernese thrown in. I know a few words in Spanish because I took two years of it in high school and because I went to grade school and high school with many Mexican, Guatemalan, and Puerto Rican kids (though I don't remember much…far better at recognizing it written down than hearing it or speaking it). When I was in 3rd grade, my classmates and I got to help teach a new boy straight from Mexico named Miguel learn how to read English. We would sit under a table on a mat a read the same book over and over. He eventually memorized the whole thing! He was the sweetest kid, but he rarely spoke in English all the time I knew him (about 4 years). I recognized the phrase “No hands!” playing soccer with all the Hispanic kids, but I can't remember it now. (mith?)

I can speak English and  a little bit French and German, but I’m not very good.. I can read texts in French but it’s nearly impossible for me to speak! I don’t know why but I cannot make a conversation because I don’t know how I can form a sentence. I think I’m not very talented when it comes to languages.

English is my native language. I speak a little Spanish and French from school. My father speaks to me in German sometimes, so I can understand a little. I have been learning Russian on my own as well.

English

A few words in German, French, and Spanish

A few words in American Sign Language. I know the alphabet, how to count to 10 and few more words. I use to know more, but its been almost 11 years since I last took a class.

^^ I also took an ASL class. That was when I was a kid, so I’ve forgotten most of it.

Other than that English, high school Spanish and just enough French to irritate French people into speaking English to me. ;->

I speak English, but I’m pretty good at Spanish, I’m taking 3-4 right now and getting an A, definitely my easiest class. You want to talk about the weather, time, likes, dislikes, chores, occupations, dancing to they rhythm of the night? I can do that all in Spanish. I don’t know why they need to even go past 3-4, I’m all ready to move to Spain for a month or two.

I grew up in Acapulco Mexico and Mexico City, from about age 4 to 9, and at one point my mother worried that I was learning so much Spanish, I was losing my English.

Alas, I’ve forgotten a lot.  But I can say:

Entre los Beatles todos considerados, me gusta Paul la primera, Juan la segunda, Ringo la tercera, y Jorge — ¡pobre Jorge! — la última. ¡Ay, que lastima!
