a-hard-days-night-ringo-8I thought about that too, but I decided to go for it.

“I will not say, 'do not weep', for not all tears are an evil” –Gandalf

Plus, by listening to George's songs today I remember his life.

If you don't feel capable of listening to him, I get it. I din't think I would be able to either, but when today came I actively sought out his music. I actually found it comforting, as well as a little sad.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

"Now and then, though, someone does begin to grow differently. Instead of down, his feet grow up toward the sky. But we do our best to discourage awkward things like that."

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.

"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

Handle With Care- Traveling Wilburys

I stopped crying… I hope… nope slightly tearing. But I'm smiling which is good especially listening to this song. The happiest song known to man.

Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.

That made me smile 🙂

I'm fortunate enough to have a dad who was a DJ during the 80's and that I was able to find the 45 of this song on vinyl in a box of records in his music room,

and that I happened to have a record player in my room. a-hard-days-night-george-10

your dad was a DJ? My dad was a lawyer. Bet yours has way more cool stuff huh?

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 Yep! He was hired by the Marriott hotel (or maybe it was The Hilton, I forgot) to be the hotel's DJ at 16. He had to buy all the records himself, so most of it is 80's pop and rock. He's the guitar playing, cigar smoking, motorcycle riding dad. xD

Now he's a salesman for Xerox, so I think your dad wins for coolest job a-hard-days-night-george-10
