Only read it once, a library copy over a couple of weeks in around September of 2017; but now I'm happy to have it re-read to me via Spotify: Mark Lewisohn's "Tune In"
Now 42% through, such a compelling story! So many milestone turning points, peppered with fascinating details in their familiar tale...I've just reached the point in August 1960, where a van overstuffed with 9 humans, their luggage, 5 guitars, 3 amplifiers, and a drum kit are being hoisted by crane onto a ferry bound for Holland and the European continent, en route to Deutschland and the Indra....but not before forcibly having the vehicle's gas tank emptied and battery disconnected for precautionary safety reasons, car-carrying ferry boats being a new and relatively untested technological innovation....
....loving this story, can't wait until c. 2041 when a nonagenarian Mark Lewisohn brings it to its conclusion!

For the first time in months, I took a hit off the old cannabis pile yesterday (DON'T DO DRUGS, KIDS! 
) and just luxuriated in the sounds of "PPM
, then H! and then RS; and it was so enjoyable that today I'm gonna revisit "BFS" and another random pair - its been a long time since I've played two full albums in succession, let alone three, but it's a good way to spot little moments of connection among various points in time.
