In The First Place by George Harrison
It is one of my favourite songs by him. The production on it is incredible too.

I’m listening to A Taste Of Honey from a session The Beatles did for a BBC Radio series called ‘Side By Side’. It was recorded on 1st April 1963, but transmitted on 13th May 1963.

What with “Helter Skelter “, Blue Cheer’s Vincebus Eruptum LP, and this fine item below, 1968 is as good a time as any to pinpoint the Year Zero for the birth of the music that would come to be called “heavy metal”. (Music here is really more “hard” (and occasionally soft) than “heavy”, but the appearance of the phrase “…heavy metal thunder!” in “Born To Be Wild” basically introduced the term into the vernacular – even though they were singing about motorcycles rather than amplifiers)

Not as legendary as their debut from much earlier in the year (1977), the first full-length LP from a UK punk band (released alongside their debut single, which covered “Help !” on the b-side), but still pretty great. (Album produced by Nick Mason, @Beatlebug!)

I’m listening to gloomy Radiohead piano ballads – that’s the title of the playlist I made, and it’s exactly what it says on the tin it’s a rainy evening so it seems right.
Last week I listened to nothing but Muse for five days straight
it was an epic binge

@Beatlebug I haven’t listened to Muse… like ever.
hey it’s ok, lots of people haven’t I think their frontman, Matt Bellamy, referred to them as “the biggest underground band in the world” they’re not everyone’s cup of tea either and I understand that, I’m okay with that, I don’t expect people to love them as much as I or other Pwoper Musers do (although it must be publicly understood that, love em or not, they are a killer live band)….
HOWEVER
if you’re ever interested in a Guided Tour, or just simple recommendations, you know who to call
…speaking of which, getting back on topic: I’m listening to Muse on shuffle from my new phone currently it’s “Bliss”

I am listening to Itchycoo Park by Small Faces.
I am letting YouTube’s “Discover” playlist do its thing
Also, @Beatlebug if you like it could you message Muse songs that I would like. Based off of my contributions to this thread you get the idea of what I like. Thanks!

Hey @Beatlebug, do you think this album opens with the same EMI bird-fx recording as was used on “Across The Universe “??
