That’s odd: in my previous post the “Hi Hi Hi ” was automatically turned into a link to the PM songs page, but “Helen Wheels” was not — even though Helen Wheels is listed on that songs page and both it and Hi Hi Hi are also blue there.
@Sea Belt, Joe has set some songs to automatically link, but not all. For example, if he were to make the word yesterday hyperlink, it would be hyperlinked randomly, not just about the song. He posted about it at the time he started the hyperlinking. I’ll see if I can find that post.
EDIT: found it. Joe starts the conversation here https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..8/#p108580

It could simply be that @Joe missed it when he went through creating the automatic hyperlinks, @Sea Belt. The main site is all the work of one man and sometimes things on the technical side can get overlooked. When you’re going through creating hundreds of automatic links it can be easy to miss one or two.
I’ll make a comment on the song entry on the main site to let Joe know that the song title isn’t creating an automatic link.

All the Bowie and Floyd over the last few days in this thread is making me proud.
Currently listening to “Anakin’s Theme”, among my top 3 John Williams themes, for its harmonic complexity and stately-yet-soaring feel, and the clever incorporation of the Imperial March aka Darth Vader’s leitmotif… brilliant bit of musical storytelling.
Next I’m gonna put on the songs I posted over in memory of David Crosby , and probably some Crosby, Stills, Nash, & sometimes Young too.

Crosby, Stills and Nash singing Blackbird at Woodstock
First time I saw them was a few months later at a protest rally in Golden Gate Park (SF). They were in town for a paid concert and joined the local bands for a free one. The thing I remember most is Crosby talking very intensely to Jerry Garcia off to the side of the stage while John Sebastian played. When he finished Jerry strode stage front and gave a very impassioned anti-war speech, the only time I ever heard him speak.

Soul/R&B station played this Isley Brothers classic, after which I had to listen to the “Around The Beatles” cover (with its unique four lead-Beatle arrangement)
It’s an interesting fact that that the Isleys actually tuned into the Sullivan show on 9 February ’64 to watch this new English band perform “Twist And Shout “, which they’d had a hit with; and that watching alongside them was their guitarist/houseguest Jimi Hendrix, who never could’ve predicted how his career and theirs would cross paths three years later, all at the toppermost of the poppermost

Thanks I read it but it doesn’t really explain why a title like “Helen Wheels” would be exempt, since nobody’s going to type “Helen Wheels” in any other context where it could be confused, like they would with “yesterday” or “I want you” etc.
Not all the titles link automatically to features on the songs. It actually slows the forum slightly with each new addition, so I’m not sure I’ll add many more. But thanks for pointing it out (and to @Ron Nasty). From now on I’ll probably only add autolinking where it’s a particularly important song or album.

I’ve been on a Pink Floyd kick lately, and obviously have been taking a break from the forum. It’s been a long while, and it’s good to be back. Currently, A Saucerful Of Secrets, Atom Heart Mother , Meddle, Wish you were here, and More (that’s the name) are my 5 favorite albums at the moment.
My vacation to england was great, and of course I went to liverpool! It was great. They’ve fixed up the city quite some bit. Although, I am not a huge fan of Primark.
Anyways, Pink Floyd is now a band I’m listening to a lot.
@Magill It’s great to have you back on here. Pink Floyd are an excellent band. One of my favourite songs is If. I love the transition from Atom Heart Mother Suite to the track on the album. Such a beautiful song.
I’m glad you had a lovely time in the UK. Did you go to any Beatles related places while you were in Liverpool? I hope to go there for the third time this year.
I’m currently listening to this.

Thanks, @Rube. I stayed at the hard day’s night hotel, went to the cavern club, and went on the Magical Mystery Tour .
