Of course the second record or disc; in this case a file.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 beautiful!

Never thought to play any Emerald Isle themed music yet…(maybe I’ll play some Thin Lizzy or U2’s “Blood Red Sky” live album l8r). We’ve had the “Jukebox Oldies” channel on for an hour, and it’s delivered mucho Beatle-approved 1955-64 gold (“School Days”, “Long Tall Sally “, “I Get Around”, “Pretty Woman “, buncha Motown, “I Saw Her Standing There “, and more even as I type this…john-lennon-salute_gif

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

(Also on this playlist: “Sunday Bloody Sunday” and “All I Want is You”. The latter is one of my especial favorites — my dad used to play Rattle & Hum a fair bit and that’s a really good song.)

Ahhh, I am somewhere in the middle of that mad crush with the wonderful Eithne. We worked together behind the jump at the Ship in South Norwood, seven years older than me and a goddess… Those were wild days, wilder nights…

A beautiful night from my youth I remember with a great big grin…

@Beatlebug – Nice playlist and drawing to go with. When I was getting into New Age music, I got turned on to and Irish group named Clannad. Enya is a family member and used to be the lead singer. They are performing a farewell tour later this year (hopefully with Enya). This is the only song to chart in the UK that is sung in Gaelic.

Yes, I enjoyed walking in Memphis on Sunday. I may go back for a second helping of walking by the river before Spring Break is over. You can do social distancing there. Lots of room.

I’ve also been to the Hollywood https://www.thehollywoodcafe.com/ There’s still catfish on the table…

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

^Interesting song/video. If we can have the late 60’s/70’s psych and glam back but with more 21st century futurism I am fully on board.

Barenaked Ladies–Stunt. This album was such a fixture of my childhood, but I went literally years without listening to it. I try not to listen to it too often, to preserve the nostalgic feeling when I do listen to it.
