Pink Floyd Friday is apparently a thing now.

Thanks for that!

which reminds me...

I never did give my opinion upon viewing "Pompeii" a few months back...Great performances all around (loved that dog!) but wish the location footage was more spectacular, y'know? Studio and soundstage stuff was a nice contrast. Pretty great document of a moment, overall.

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!"

The most slept on hip hop record of last year, in my opinion, this wonderful fusion of space jazz and rapping.

Tall, dark-haired QuarryMan likes basketball, music, and naturally, boys. He was a valuable participant on the track team. He is one of Freeport's great contributors to the recording world. As for the immediate future, QuarryMan has no plans, but will take life as it comes.

The bonus disc that came with my ooooooh deluxe In Through The Out Door. (It was actually less expensive than the plain album, so I figured why the hell not, even if it's just rough mixes mccartney-shrug_01_gif I'll update this later with my judgements if anyone cares.)

Edit if anyone cares: It wasn't terribly distinct from the finished album, just rough mixes mostly. C'mon Jimmy, you're holding out on us!

Dirt Off Your Shoulder - Jay Z. I love Jay, especially as he's a big Beatles fan, and has included Beatles references in a number of songs (just off the top of my head, I can think of a track Reminder, which mentions the Beatles and Elvis, and the track he did with Beyonce called Ape Shit, where he mentions Ringo. ) He's also into Alistair Crowley, who was obviously on the cover of Sgt Pepper

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 Def don't need to hear Eddie, but curious about the rest.

Right now...Fishmans "Long Season" album (very nice), helpfully posted to up/down. a-hard-days-night-ringo-15

Someone said 'What were you gonna do when it's all finished,' and I said 'I don't know but it'd be good fun being a DJ.' And since then I've become a DJ, only by word of mouth, you know. SO any minute now you'll read, 'Ringo leaves to become a DJ' but it's not true. - Ringo Starr
