David Bowie - 'Unwashed And Somewhat Slightly Dazed' (from David Bowie / Space Oddity, 1969)

It verges from the sublime to the ridiculote

I am listening to a playlist on Spotify that has every song that has ever been in an Edgar Wright film. It is called the Ultimate Edgar Wright Playlist.

And in the end the lunch you take is equal to the lunch you bake.

Slowthai - Nothing Great About Britain

Tall, dark-haired QuarryMan likes basketball, music, and naturally, boys. He was a valuable participant on the track team. He is one of Freeport's great contributors to the recording world. As for the immediate future, QuarryMan has no plans, but will take life as it comes.

I'll have to give that Raconteurs track a listen, @Ron Nasty -- the band and I covered a Raconteurs song called 'Steady As She Goes' which I have fond memories of -- but right now I'm on a long-overdue BEATLES BINGE for Global Beatles Day! ahdn_john_08_gifahdn_george_08a-hard-days-night-ringo-10a-hard-days-night-paul-5

'The Beatalls' canon playlist (sans Abbey Road , because I'm on a strict AR diet, and YS because I haven't ripped it a-hard-days-night-paul-10) on shuffle -- currently on 'Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da '.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 Good songs up there...punk's not dead!

("Soup" = the only Frankenchrist song I can even remember, practically).

Such a cool little throwaway, with those Paul screams..."Surfin' With The Beatles !" (Some internet genius should find some appropriate Ringo isolated drum tracks and do a remix job...)

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!"

The whole album is wonderful, if you haven't heard it. I do like the way she deals with her gender identity, but there are also some really good punk stompers not dissimilar to something you might hear on Aladdin Sane or The Next Day, particularly 'Black Me Out' and 'Unconditional Love'.

I find these lyrics from the title track particularly powerful:

You want them to notice
The ragged ends of your summer dress
You want them to see you
Like they see every other girl
They just see a faggot
They hold their breath not to catch the sick

Anyways, I'm now listening to Sonic Youth's Sugar Kane.
