Since I am Home Alone tonight, might as well blast some tunes to sing and dance to.  First for singing:

The first thing I do when my folks pull out of the driveway is blast tunes. a-hard-days-night-george-9

^paul-mccartney-thumb_gif When I go to visit my parents I like to crank up the music they listened to when they were younger, which I grew up loving too.  They get excited reminiscing about their wild youthful daze and we have good times stuart-sutcliffestuart-sutcliffe

Meanwhile, things are now rocking at my house:

Someone said 'What were you gonna do when it's all finished,' and I said 'I don't know but it'd be good fun being a DJ.' And since then I've become a DJ, only by word of mouth, you know. SO any minute now you'll read, 'Ringo leaves to become a DJ' but it's not true. - Ringo Starr

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!"

I don't know if it's because that version is "The Gun Remix" but it's awful. All the intrigue of the original has been replaced by crap vocals and a very annoying backing track.
