All the way thru all I could think of was John on ‘Juke Box Jury’ saying about their single ‘First Quarrel’

A very bare early outtake/demo of ‘Spies Like Us’ which is far more interesting and listenable than the version Paul released.
Up next is another alternate ‘Spies Like Us’ which has a fabulous guitar solo. Where did that go in the crappy single? Feck sake. This rocks!!! The ending rocks out!! Paul!! Ohh Paul!!! What did you do?

Offline Listening to that 50th anniversary thingie of Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys , which is basically the 30th anniversary thing without a couple of things and with..err..a couple of other things.
Loving the backing tracks. The backing track to Don’t talk (put your head on my shoulder) has to be one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. Such an underrated track, despite being on Pet Sounds.

Offline I know a few people here love the Shangri-La’s (@Joe, @AppleScruffJunior) so here is 7 minute session outtake of the wonderful ‘Remember (Walkin’ In The Sand)’, one of my very favourite tracks. John must have been a fan as he stole bits for ‘Free As A Bird ‘. Found this ages ago but forgot all about it until a couple of days ago.
