Offline Not a Grateful Dead fan, but I’m watching this clip of the Dead appearing on the old Playboy After Dark show from ’69… talk about sticking out like a sore thumb… and check out the end when the credits are rolling, and you’ll see the audience cutting loose like they didn’t care. There’s a famous story to that, as one of the Dead’s roadies spiked the coffee with acid, so everyone except Hugh Hefner (who didn’t drink coffee) is tripping big time as the credits are going by…
By the way, can we clone Barbi Benton and transport her to today? She’s GORGEOUS.

I don’t think so, either. I think that people try to interpret older pieces of entertainment in the most sinister way possible, when it really isn’t intended to be interpreted as such. Today’s youngsters always default to having dirty minds is all that it comes down to, in my opinion.

I never thought it was stalker-ish, but “You Like Me Too Much ” is a different story, with lyrics like “I will follow you and bring you back where you belong / ‘Cause I couldn’t really stand it…”

Offline I’ve never seen ‘You Like Me Too Much ‘ as being in any way creepy. If someone’s partner leaves one option is to go see him/her to try and get them to come home – another is to call round friends and family to celebrate.
