One reason may be that AG doesn’t seem to drink hot drinks. I know in the fortnight I was spent with here when she last visited the UK (another trip on the way) I can’t remember her drinking tea or coffee. AG is a soft drinks girl.

Offline Fresh lychees.
Have a chicken very slowly roasting in the oven. Skin rubbed with a black pepper and mustard seed mix, with garlic cloves slit into the meat.
Has been in for about three hours. Maybe another hour or so before it comes out the oven, and I whack it up to 220. Soon as oven hits 220, foil off the chicken, lob back in oven for around 15-20 minutes to crisp the skin.
Same time sweet potato wedges go into oven, lightly coated in a homemade chilli olive oil. They’ll take 35 to 40 minutes.
That gives the incredibly juicy chicken time to rest before I have a leg and a bit of breast with sweet potato wedges and a tomato salsa.
Check oven again at ten.

If you have it in a mug, it’s smooth and you aren’t using a spoon, you’re drinking it. If it’s got meat, veg, or other chunky ingredients and you need a spoon and are using a bowl, you’re eating it.

I dozed off on the sofa halfway through eating a Dairy Milk with Daim pieces bar the other night. Not much clothing was being worn as it was hot. Squished chocolate not always so good. In my doze I curled up on the sofa, and when I woke my first thought was I’d had some dreadful accident…
