I do like ’em with milk, but usually I just have ’em as is
Do you eat the cream first or just go bite-by-bite. I’m a cream first girl most of the time.

depends! I usually just have the full cookie in one go, but I pop the top off and have the cream a fair bit too
I also like combining em, hahaha
like, adding a cookie half to it, stacking one with the top removed on top of a full one, etc.
hell, sometimes I’ll just have the cookie part Nigel Tufnel style

I usually eat the cream first before I eat the cookie.
I’m having a Peanut Butter Sandwich with Ready Salted Crinkle Crisps.

@Rube, have you tried Elvis’s favorite – a peanut butter and banana sandwich? My grandmother always had to make her cocker spaniel one when she made one for herself.

They’re delicious indeed, as I verified on the previous page weeks ago! (Except mine was more of a wrap than a sandwich)
I believe Elvis’ variation also added bacon to the sandwich

I haven’t, but I will try it. I’ve had a peanut butter and jam sandwich before. It was lovely.

That was Elvis’ favourite homemade sandwich, but his favourite sandwich – which was similar – was a sandwich known as the Fool’s Gold Loaf made by the Colorado Mine Company in Denver.
It consisted of a loaf of white French bread, hollowed out, and baked in the oven until it browns, then spread a jar of peanut butter on the bottom half of the loaf, with a jar of grape jelly going on top of that, finished off with 1lb of bacon. The major difference between the two being the substitution of grape jelly for banana.
Elvis loved it so much he would often fly to Denver from Memphis in his private jet, and order 30 to be delivered to his plane at the airport when he landed, for him and the Memphis Mafia, spend a couple of hours munching down on them along with Perrier and Champagne, before flying back to Memphis.
It was around $50 for a Fool’s Gold Loaf back in the mid-70s, so feck knows what it would cost now.
Anyway…
Am currently doing a rabbit, pheasant and mushroom (dried porchini and fresh chestnut) casserole, with smoked bacon lardons, one red onion, two normal onions, shallots, carrots, baby potatoes, peas in the pod, two cloves of garlic, couple of red chilli peppers, tin of chopped tomatoes, chicken stock, half a bottle of Merlot (possibly more by the time I’m done).
Big casserole pot in use. Will be eating later, and tomorrow, before freezing the rest so I have something nice ready after I get out of hospital after the first round of cancer treatment.
