Nice beefy horn section on that, reminds me of certain things by Fela Kuti. Turn it up.
One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!"

Not a big fan of soloing over the vocals but keep it where it is.

Amazing song, superb arrangement/production/performance from all involved. And the coloured girls sing "Turn it up!"

Turn it up, it's got some good slide guitar and grungy guitarnage.
I've just been turned on to this band by David Bowie and Gail Ann Dorsey, I think they're great. What do you think? https://youtu.be/O63MzT2pPSs
Edit: Apparently they covered 'Hey Bulldog' and it's GREAT.

I really like that!! The instrumentation is awesome, the organ especially. It only loses a tiny mark for the vocals and the melody, they don't quite hit the mark for me. Overall, definitely turn it up multiple notches!

That's a great-sounding record all around - I especially like Mick and Keith's hillbilly-harmonies and Bobby Keys' tenor solo. Lyrical subject matter is troublesome, but you could say the same of "Run For Your Life " too and it's never stopped me from liking that one either. Turn the Stones up.

Sounds like a cross between a prototype for rap and a PSA and has very funny lyrics, for both of which reasons I'll turn it up!

I'll turn that one up - nice groove, but could do with being 30 seconds shorter.
A very un-ABBA-like ABBA song:

Enjoyable classical-rock fluff. Nice keyboards - I'm especially fond of that very of-its-time Wah-Wah clavinet sound. I can imagine Paul trying something like this with Wings in stretching-out mode. Orchestrations tasteful but unexciting; I wish they could've employed wordless Anna-Frid and Agnetha vocals instead! Still a pretty good track (from a pretty good album) worthy of turning up a notch or three.

Wow, haven't heard that album for a while! (Not that track , at least; "Blister In The Sun" still gets exposure in adverts and elsewhere...) Turn it up slightly.

Funnily enough, @vonbontee, I was listening to that very song earlier! Great stuff from Usher, Boettcher, Glen Campbell, Bruce Johnston, Terry Melcher and co., and certainly what The Beach Boys could have been doing had Brian not been in the state he was. Turn it up!

Ha, I see "Tremeloes" and prepare to hear something from like 1965, something good enough to win a Decca recording contract over the Pete-les...and instead I hear '80s drum and synth sounds! Had no idea they recorded that late. I've never heard this cover before, nor the Eurovision winning original, but it's a pretty good song, nicely sung. I have my usual complaints about '80s production techniques, but still: turn it up.

Unfortunately you've picked the wrong person to grade the song - it's synth stuff... That's totally not up my alley (my dad has tried to play me that song a couple of times but it hasn't got better with 3 listens). Sorry, turn that down.

What the hell - this thread finally gets some heavy activity going on a day when I'm travelling for six hours and miss all the action!?
Kraftwerk - Turn it up one-and-a-half. I like Kraftwerk a fair bit but don't think I've ever heard that track (no more than twice, maybe). Some fantastic sounds over too-thin beats, plus my usual 70s/analog vs. 80s/digital prejudices. But it sustains interest throughout.
Wild Cherry - Turn it up 74. Or down 3, depending on my mood
Outkast - Turn it up! I was never more than indifferent to "Hey Ya" on the office radio, but that (wonderful) video gave me new appreciation for it - the presentation made it seem more of an "actual" rock song. There are more subtle melodies than I originally realized, too (though I still despise that little keyboard part)
Rory - Turn it down, sorry. Great guitar tone but his soloing here didn't really excite me this time.
These guys had a bit of a Velvet Underground fixation (for any @QuarryMan out there who might be interested)
