Holey: Shame! I love IWYSSH . I guess it’s similar to Revolution 9 (which I also love a-hard-days-night-george-10) in that people either love or hate it

Keep it at same volume. Although James’s voice is beyond legendary, the backing instruments sound a little quiet IMO (needs more drums/percussion if you ask me).

Leave both of ’em where they are! I’ve heard those “Let’s Dance” singles waaaay too many times over the last 35 years to care to hear either of them again; and the novelty of an 8-bit version of “Dark Side One of The Moon” isn’t something I’d wanna hear more than once, especially since so much good stuff about the orig (Gilmour’s “Time” solo, creepy tape fx, Claire Torry) is absent.

Uh oh, I liked the “for Skipper” intro but then I got bored.  Turn it down.  If we must duel, Purplish One, let it be like Redmond Barry and Capt. John Quin.

Some new jack swing to mix it up:

Blocked in the UK. ahdn_paul_01 Although I did search it up and listen to it elsewhere, and as someone who had not even attempted to venture into Zep beforehand, I have to say it was quite a kickass song once it gets going and a cool introduction to my experience! I think this song has prompted me to look into them later and see what I’ve been missing out on, so I say Turn It Up and thanks!

Up next, something I stumbled across the other day:

DO SO. a-hard-days-night-paul-5 I guarantee you won’t regret it. (They’re not all like that, by the way: ‘In The Light’ is a somewhat unusual example in their catalogue — but all Zepp songs are good introductories. a-hard-days-night-george-4)

The guitar is nice but the vocals ruin the song IMO so i’d say turn it down.

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

Leave it where it is…Queen’s 70s stuff is prettty good but I never found that one particularly memorable, except for the ascending part leading into the chorus, and the “Little Queenie” rip only makes me wish I was listening to the astonishing 1962 Star-Club Beatles version (the definitive version)

(On second thought, kick it up half a notch, it ain’t bad.)

It was inevitable I’d post this one here someday…from 1976, the incomparable MX-80 Sound in all their double-drummed glory. (If you dig it, go to youtube and listen to the entire “Big Hits” 7-inch (and 7 songs, in 14 minutes!) EP
