Also they would prefer you to only use vinyl for Beatles music because voices aren’t as clear, therefore making it harder to tell it’s not actually Paul. It all fits together.
Wait if Paul is dead, Then who are YOU!?

I’m the world’s leading expert on why Paul is dead.
Do you have a P.H.D on the subject?

@Starr Shine? Before we get back on topic, I must say, that’s a vert interesting school/website… I was thinking about signing up, but the application was WAY to thorough! And I didn’t meet some of the requirements.

As of yesterday, my Beatles vinyl collection is extended with A Hard Day’s Night and John Lennon ‘s Imagine !
I must admit that if there is one thing I love about living behind the moon, it has to be that I’ve bought 6 Beatles records that haven’t even cost me 20 euro! Another thing would be that I can download just about anything and without anyone over my head.

Recently I went to this place in Manchester called Afflecks Palace. It’s basically a load of small, independent shops in one building. They had alot of weird Gothic and fancy dress stalls but also at least 4 record shops! I came back with Red Rose Speedway and Back To The Egg . I saw some Beatles mono lp’s (wasn’t sure if they were original) but they were very expensive compared with everything else (about £25 they were asking for A Hard Days Night)

I’ll have to move there!

Four in one area? How close we’re they?
Affleck’s Palace is like an indoor bazaar with lots of different stalls/shops. It’s a step up from a market, but not far off. Some pics: http://www.handbagsandgladrags…..alace.html

I went to my friend’s house and I said something about how much I like Boston (they’re coming to Pittsburgh with Cheap Trick, but sadly I missed the boat on tickets), and my friend’s dad said he didn’t really like them anymore, but he used to and he went and gave me his original vinyl of Boston! I think my dad already had it, but it’s still pretty cool.

Record Store Day 2014! Anyone doing anything? Find anything special? I have some of a story but will tell later, because I’m going back to the store for… drumroll please… The auction of the Butcher Cover! I’m entered a lot, so please wish me luck! Should happen between 6 and 7, and I’ll inform you all of what happens!

First: I just got back from my record store. Sadly, I got there too late, so I didn’t get any RSD releases (to the downloads!). But, I got a solid haul of CDs:
- Bullet In A Bible, Green Day’s 2005 live album CD/DVD set.
- From The Muddy Banks Of TheWishkah, a Nirvana live album from a bunch of shows spanning from 1989-1994. Interesting fact: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Red Hot Chili Peppers once shared a bill. What I wouldn’t give to have been there for that show.
- Who’s Next, The Who album. Apparently very good.
- John Lennon /Plastic Ono Band-Needs no explanation.
- Nimrod-Green Day’s album from 1997. Contains one of their more famous songs, Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)
So, great haul (all for $25!). Too bad I didn’t get any RSD releases.
Second: WHAT THE HELL

First: Sad you didn’t get there in time for RSD releases, but you seem to have some great stuff anyway. There wasn’t too much interesting stuff this year anyway (although leftovers were good)!
Second: I’ve come to the conclusion that I go to the greatest record store ever. So that’s what…
And I have exciting news!! Be back in a second to type it all out!!! (suspense)

Actually, the What The Hell was in response to your avatar. And I can’t wait for the surprise…
It was for AG’s birthday… gotta change it back…
Okay, so A Day In The Life Of Mr. K.:
Woke up around seven, would’ve gotten there before eight, but didn’t end up getting there until exactly eight when they opened. They’d just gotten a second space right above their other one that will become the rock section eventually, but yesterday it was the RSD room. It was a small space, so only a certain amount of people were allowed in at a time. I waited outside for half an hour, but it wasn’t that bad because they had a bunch of so-so condition records out there for free! I got 461 Ocean Boulevard by Clapton, filled out the ten extra entry forms for the Butcher Cover you got for coming early, and was finally permitted entrance. There was a leftover I was interested in, so I looked for that and found it shortly. After a half hour in line I emerged with the 2011 RSD Beatles singles box release!
Fast forward to six o’clock.
I go back to the store, browse a bit and wait for the moment when the winner of this beauty would be announced:
The store had about ten other people in there, one was a guy who came everyday and made a purchase to be entered. So the time finally comes, I’m obviously extremely excited… the owner pulls a name out of the container and!!!!
It was the guy who entered everyday! He really earned it, so I didn’t feel bad. He went to pick the consolation prize and… It was that guy again! He obviously was happy with his prize and declined. He kept picking until someone in the store won, and I won! … A giant chocolate bunny… Being the nice person I am, I gave it to my sister. The owner said he loved random acts of kindness like that and he let me get one free new record!! I chose the 2009 remaster of AHDN , even though I already had it on vinyl, it was the only one I was really interested in. I’m glad someone who really wanted it won (even though it wasn’t me) and I’m happy the owner is so nice. It was a great day!
