I, probably more than anyone else here, need the title change. Sometimes I find myself hoping this is just a bad mistake and that I will hear his voice again...see a Forum post from him again...get Google drive files from his email address again. I don't want his passing to be real. OK, now I'm crying. Give me some time.

With lovers and friends I still can recall.
Some are dead and some are living,
In My Life
I've loved them all.
There is no one compares with you.
And these mem'ries lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new.

I agree with a title change, but definitely keep the thread. I like that there is a space for anyone to share thoughts and memories of RN. Whatever you think is best for the title @Ahhh Girl, and whenever you're ready.

Mark was the first person to welcome me to the forum in response to my 2015 Canon Poll vote. I thought it was unusual that he used his real name in a PM, so I did the same on all my PMs. I never totally understood his dedication to rules and feckin' facts, but I learned to do my homework prior to posting in order to avoid his . Probably like a lot of you Mark sent me lots of digital gifts and if I'm listening to The Beatles on my computer the source is him. I never encountered a relationship that began online that is/was as close as Ron Nasty and Ahhh Girls. I'm truly sorry for your loss AG. If you like I can change the thread title. Perhaps "In Memoriam: Mark a.k.a. Ron Nasty (All your life...)".
After this thread was opened, Mark requested that we make a donation to a charity that had a personal meaning to us. At that time my wife and I were volunteers at the local Ronald McDonald House, so I made a contribution in his name. Each week the administrator would decorate the play room with the names of that week's donators. I giggled when we entered the room and encountered this little placard on the wall:
Well...it became a subject of conversation and someone said "I think that name has something to do with The Beatles". My wife immediately looked in my direction!
I'll miss you Mark...

The post where ron said "Blood Transfusion for breakfeast." honestly was the saddest one to me
Yeah, he had no idea of what was about to happen. I wish I could talk to the nurses who took care of him to find out what his last days were like. I wonder what his last words were.

Sorry I didn't realize this sooner, but RN's posts were in a class by itself back in 2020 when I browsed but never signed up. I remember reading all his insights and simply, he just OWNED the forum. Nobody posted close to him, he was GOD. ... Then I would go on ITunes and download YouTube audio for unreleased Beatles to add my collection.
(There is not emoji which stands a chance to salute that legendary man.)

That saluting John emoji is absolutely the perfect choice, seeing as how Mark invariably used it ("And, sir...") to cap off his own condolence posts in the "Rest In Peace" thread.
And yeah, he might as well have owned the Forum, seeing as how he probably contributed more words here than anyone aside from Joe (I'd guess that only @meanmistermustard comes close.)
Feck cancer!
