Heh once one of my friends was doing a kahoot (we'll call her "Molly") and someone else in the class named themselves "Molly is a god."

Whoa that's a lot! I think it was Evangeline that I had in mind but thanks a-hard-days-night-george-9

It's positively gorgeous out today, which is strange because 1. It's January and yet somehow it feels like summer and 2. It was raining just a few days ago.

It's like 35 where I am, which really isn't that cold, but the whole of Virginia collectively has a seizure when it snows (hopefully it'll snow soon, ugh school) so you can imagine how well it's going over. I saw a dog with boots on.

Ugh, kahoots... my entire class usually named themselves as some sort of variant on my name, so the teachers got worried about my sanity after a while and stopped doing them. mccartney-shrug_01_gif

Why your name, if you don't mind my asking? a-hard-days-night-ringo-7

Kahoots are fun as long as they're not math. The naming is the best part (though Walry's right, it always eventually leads to chaos)

Nothing special with my name, it's just that apparently my entire class follows me as a cult or something... it gets annoying after a while.

Last semester my Biology class did Kahoots pretty regularly and I ended up naming myself after David Bowie characters most of the time. a-hard-days-night-john-6

@Beatlebug are you more of a David Bowie fan or a Beatles fan? Just wondering...

Reporter: Beethoven figures in one of your songs. What do you think of Beethoven?
Ringo Starr: He’s great. Especially his poetry.

@silverhammerYT Ring me again in five years, maybe I'll have it figured out then. a-hard-days-night-paul-7

Just kidding. I don't think I try to prioritise my favourite artists in that way, because I go through phases where I'm discovering a new artist and they become my life for 6 months to a year, before fading into the more comfortable background rotation. Since getting into the Beatles, I have done the same with Pink Floyd, Muse, Led Zeppelin, and finally Bowie. Bowie's my current obsession but I still love the hell out of the others. He's also somewhat more of a sartorial role model to me, and he's good for naming yourself after in Kahoots because there's so many of him. a-hard-days-night-john-6

But each of my favourite artists occupies a very special place in my heart -- they're not more or less, just different. I sort it something like this:
Beatles - First and forever favourite band heart Those boys and their songs are my family.
Floyd - My soulmate. We're getting married as soon as I figure out how one marries a body of artwork.
Muse - My favourite modern band and the best live band I've ever seen (because I was born too late for Led Zepp a-hard-days-night-john-6) and cracking good generally.
Led Zepp - Zepp is basically my substitute for sex mccartney-shrug_01_gif
Bowie - Inspiration, epitome of class, sartorial role model, and there are so many of him I never get bored.

Stay tuned, I may be adding more to the list (I also like Radiohead and have been poking at Queen, but those five reign supreme).

Lol yes, Pink Floyd is great. Especially TDSOTM.

Bowie - Inspiration, epitome of class, sartorial role model, and there are so many of him I never get bored.

I’ve heard a lot of his music and it’s very cool, but admittedly I’ve never actually downloaded one of his albums or listened to one all the way through, though I definitely want to, heard great things about him.

Hehe, I'm gonna answer this, too. All my ranking are temporary, I might feel different later, but for now:

1. my lovely Beatles

2. David, my soulmate

3. The Rolling Stones beatlemaniacs_02_gif

4. Pink Floyd heart

Watched this a few nights ago. Funniest thing I've seen in a very long time.

Looney Tunes from old is still awesome.

Calvin and Hobbes is exceptional and Watterson should be admired, praised and honoured for never selling out and licensing all kinds of crap merchandise to make tons of more money.

I will be forever grateful to @AppleScruffJunior for giving me the heads up when the complete collection was on offer. heartapple01
