Sorry, didn’t know. Just trying to be nice.

It’s all good. You brought some attendance to it so some people will know about it and could sign up and take the course

I tried to take it the first time it was posted, started late and fell behind.

This time I signed up again and watched a few of the videos then forgot about it. Probably too late to catch up, but the videos are interesting anyway.

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Great book. I lived off it for years, reading and re-reading endlessly either the whole book or certain song entries. Let me know what you think of it @Marmalade skies .

Felt kind of…gutted recently to discover that the general British accent is actually Received Pronunciation (I am not a native English speaker but my country is a part of the Commonwealth). Ah well, I thought that posh accent was natural to Brits. That’s when the whole fuss over Beatles and esp John not speaking Queen’s English made complete sense.

Can I create a thread about Live Aid, the concert, the performances, our experiences, and the results? Or would that not take off?

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

Go for it.  I have the first and the later ones on DVD and lots of dodgy opinions on both :)

Oh we have something like that over here too. In The Netherlands people all have very different accents. Mine is the worst and I’m trying to hide it as it’s not charming at all, but I’ve heard more than once that I ”don’t speak Dutch properly”. People think that the accent they use on tv, like a slight Amsterdam accent, is the right accent.

Anyway. I’m too lazy to read everything so why is it that a lot of your avatars have big eyes and huge black mustaches?

@Linde it was part of Anna’s new video, and now everyone has a “frightened face.”

But not everyone is choosing to use Anna’s handiwork, and hopefully normal service will return soon!

It will… At least by when the next video is up.

When your prized possessions
Start to weigh you down

When your bird is broken
Will it bring you down?

How much do you rely on the people and things around you to be your motivation, happiness, and reason for living versus having having all that motivation, etc., be internal?

Honestly, I don’t know when my avatar will change back because I don’t remember where I saved the original picture on my hard drive.  I may be stuck like this forever.

I'm Necko.  I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

Just about 100% for people and things.

Possession-wise not too much. I like my comforts but i hope i could live without them.

People and other odds and ends are far more complicated, certainly too complicated and complex to write succinctly on a forum.

Yeah, me to, Necko, me too. I wish I had more internal satisfaction to fall back on. My resilience isn’t as strong as I would like it to be. I don’t want to go so far as being a lost cause of narcissism, but a little more intrinsic motivation wouldn’t be a bad thing.
