I don’t think we will notice much difference. She’s already been posting from her plane. She’ll just be on more European time than American. I’m looking forward to her cursing post halfway up the Leaning Tower of Pisa where she’s cursing the fecking barsteward who recommended she climb the steps.

Ahhh Girl? She replied to me just yesterday!

Depending on the time, that would most likely have been just before her flight to Europe.  By my calculation she should be in Athens now, though my grasp of time-zones is hazy at best :)

Ha ha – nice.  We will see how long her wireless lasts then – though she may be able to get a prepaid or something over there to keep us up-to-date :)

[EDIT] and of course there should be enough free hot-spots about (even on Mykonos where she is due today).

While I was watching Rockshow yesterday, at the section where they’ve all got the acoustic guitars, my mom (who likes the Beatles well enough) said “Wait , Paul’s lefty???”

My dad and I were just silent for a few seconds before cracking up.

You’ll come back tomorrow and find she’s moved forty posts and left us all ahdn_paul_02a-hard-days-night-paul-7 after a post about Paul and something to do with Greece (the country before anyone says anything, see where your minds goahdn_paul_01).

This is incredible. Would melt even the hardest hearts and make them smile.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Professor Colin Pillenger. He was the foremost UK space scientist. Known, unfortunately, for the failed Beagle II mission to Mars. It’s not easy to be a space scientist in somewhere like the UK, and even more difficult to have adventurous and new ideas.

It took only 25 minutes and a car ride home to forever change this dog’s life for the better. This is why Zag and I adopt all of our animals from rescues and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Thanks so much for sharing that @meanmistermustard.

My first cat and the one I have now were both from rescues/shelters. Well my first cat we found online and talks to the lady taking care of her at a pet store, but she wasn’t from the store, she was left outside an office building in the city as a kitten. We adopted her and she was a great cat. Sadly she died last summer of anemia at four, which apparently happens to a lot of cats, very sad.

This cat we adopted from a small little shelter, I believe they said she was a kitten of a stray they found. She’s also great.

I definitely think people should get pets from shelters.

All of the pets we had had, except for one cat that was a stray and followed my sister home and a dog that was from the litter of a dog we already had, have been from an animal shelter which is a 20 minute drive away.

Can still remember Dog (that’s his name) sitting in his pen looking miserable – doesnt help that he adopts said look when he wants something, usually my dinner.
