The power company dealt with that really quickly… I’m impressed… Oh sweet A/C and BB! Thank you AG and Anna for your concern. apple01

I agree with MMM, no one voluntarily uses IE, it made sense when it was the original browser, but Chrome, Safari for Mac users, and even Firefox are definitely better.

I swear on a stack of Beatles Bibles (cell phone, laptop, home pc, the 3 pc’s I use at work) that I try to remember to log off the BB each time I leave one of the devices. I especially try to remember to log off all of them before going to bed. Looks like I stayed logged on on my phone all night. Bad, AG.

I don’t usually log off either, the only time I’m not logged in on my phone is if my browser shuts down and logs me out, so it probably always says I’m on.

It doesn’t say your on always I think it is just when you connect to the internet since I checked the site on my dads computer and I was off line though I didn’t log off none

Neither do I, but sometimes it logs out itself and then I do have to log in. Which is a pain in the ass when you’re on a mobile phone.

So, help me then. When you aren’t showing up as “currently online”, are you still logged in? I assumed that if you are on a forum page but not logged in, you would be counted among the guests.

I think it is cause you are not connected to the internet/site cause the thing at the bottom is for like active people here and not people logged on.

So, if my device stays connected to the internet for hours upon hours even when I’m off in la-la-land, I will stay in the “currently online” line? It has happened before.

I think that’s how it works, but yes, like you said earlier if you get logged out you’re counted as a guest.

So those who say they never log out on purpose, they only show that they are not “currently online” when their device logs them off the forum?

Those of you who don’t log off, do you turn your computer or laptop off without logging off? Do you have to log back in when you turn your computer/laptop back on?

Thank you to anyone who is still hanging in here with me and trying to clear up my confusion.

You have to have an open browser window and logged in to be displayed as “currently online”. If  you are logged in but not on the site then you don’t appear as being “currently online”.

The mobile device thing is a right pain as i spend more logging on (as it keeps logging me off when on) and fighting with the navigation than i do looking at the site.

Sad to hear of the passing of the great Bob Hoskins, star of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? amongst others, from pneumonia at the age of 71.

File:Bob Hoskins.jpgImage Enlarger

Two of his breakthrough roles came in 1980’s The Long Good Friday and 1986’s Mona Lisa – both films with connections to George’s HandMade Films.

RIP Bob.
