This is a ‘what the hell?’ film.

The Rutles are touring soon: http://www.ents24.com/uk/tour-…..the-rutles
They’re playing just down the road from me in Cardiff. It’d cost about £25/$40 with booking fee, so I’m not sure it’s worth it. Should I go? I’ve seen and enjoyed the film but I don’t think I’d bother buying their records.

YouTube links only embed if the actual URL is pasted in its own line. You linked some text you had written so it didn’t work. Here:

Oh, thanks. I have no idea what you did to get that to work. Its all just a conspiracy.
Re the Rutles, i enjoy the film but their music gets very old very quickly so i wouldn’t go see them live. Plus Eric isn’t part of it which also puts me off – him being a key part of its creation. I’d sit there the whole way thru with my brain repeating “that’s not Stig!!” through-out.

Loved this gaffe from Joanna Gosling reading the headlines at the top of the hour on the BBC, bound to end up on YT:

Sorry, still finding my way around and didn’t know where else to ask. But I will. Eventually.
No worries, @C.R.A.

I just got an email thru saying my membership to a casino had been approved and all i now had to do was click on the link to get €300 added to my account free of charge. Result. Tho it is odd that i never signed up to join a casino and my email name isn’t vajcovajco. Nevermind. Free money.
I never knew this but to get the Euro sign on your keyboard all you have to do is hold down Alt and type 0128 on the number keypad. Cool to know.

I’m surprised people fall for those emails, because why would they give you free money (and in euros)? No company is going to give that amount of cash away for free.
I’ve been getting lots of emails like that recently, though nothing to do with casinos. They’re getting on my nerves.

Some Bookmakers and online/tvcasino’s do match the first deposit you put into your account or give you an extra tenner or so when you initially sign-up, but there is a limit which is far below €300 and it does depend on the individual proving their own funds as well. I’ll never get how folk fall for the emails which involve a lost lost second half cousin leaving £250,000 and to get it just give them your bank details.

Yeah, but I didn’t think it’d be as much as 300 euros, though.
I keep getting a call from someone who tells me he works for a computer company, and do I know it’s about to break? So give me your card info and we’ll send someone over. Yeah, sure, hold on a tic. And I’ve had people come to my door claiming they’re from a charity, only they’re not. I could never do something like that. I know things are though at the moment, but surely there are better ways to try and earn money?

I got a laptop call once but it was that my computer was infected and they could fix it for me thru an anti-virus programme sent over the web, all i had to do was send them my bank details for the cost and it would be sorted. Who the heck would ever consider using anti-virus software from people who just randomly call them on the phone?
Have also had a phone conversation with someone who insisted that i had been involved in a car accident and was due compensation, i haven’t, and with a phone company worker trying to convince me that it was better to sign up to a £30 a month contract instead of my method of putting £10 in whenever i needed or wanted to. He eventually hung up.

“Nope”

“no, don’t think so”

“I’m fairly sure I’d remember that”
“Perhaps you lost your memory, sir”
“No, I think I’d remember that”

Apparently, unbeknown to me, I’m Mrs Vinshalis, and I’ve been mis-sold PPI… for months I’ve been getting emails telling me so, so it must be true!

My dog has got very bad arthritis in one of his legs, its led to pretty much all the muscle wearing away so he can hardly walk and causes him pain. He’s on medication but anyone know a miracle cure, some potion or lotion that will mend it up within minutes so he can go back to annoying us by running across fields and disappearing?
And since we’re on the topic of Dogs, how’s Lily doing @Zig? Is she well on the way to recovery and back to her normal self?

My heart goes out to you. My old dog got arthritis. It is sad to see them wear down like that. If I had the miracle cure, I would FedEx you some overnight.

From what I read having your dog take a Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate supplement can help. If you are already doing that if your dog is feeling pain in a spot you could put an ice pack or give your dog a massage to help ease pain and some places recommend aspirin for pain also.
Here are some massage techniques from youtube if you want to try that.

You go away for a few hours and come back to rude sounding place names and a discussion involving Paul, tractors, marriage and things that only consenting married adults should do with the blinds down at night.Well, look who all the commentators were… no wonder.
Indeed. I was horrified and am thinking of writing to my local MP at such a disgrace. The internet is not to be filled with such filth.
