I like the way the blog refers to him as “Wings legend Paul McCartney “! I agree, obviously, that JPM is definitely a legend, and Wings were a great band on their day, but I think Paul’s legend status has a lot more to do with another band he was in!

It reminds me, when I was a kid, there was a TV ad for a classic rock radio station in Chicago in which a child approaches her father and says, “Dad, was Paul McCartney in a band before Wings?” Cue deadpan look.
