Well, I dressed up as the White Album . Generally it was well-recieved, but I had to explain to one 80-year-old lady who the Beatles were.
"Now and then, though, someone does begin to grow differently. Instead of down, his feet grow up toward the sky. But we do our best to discourage awkward things like that."
"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

How can you be 80 years old and not know who the beatles are?
Does anyone else feel like its a reward coming out from seeing the doctor with a prescription for medication. Like you havent been wasting their time and faking it? Hurray, im unwell. And its great in Scotland because medication is free, well you pay it through taxes etc but you dont have to give money over the counter.

That's what it's like here. You just pay for everything in one bill. Yeah, maybe. Because I usually always played hooky last year without a med. certificate… not anymore, of course.

Who's Tommy Douglas?
England have charges for medication for if youre not within certain brackets, tho Wales and Northern Ireland may be free. Scotland has only recently brought in free prescriptions for all, after a period of reducing the cost.
Im aware its paid thru taxes and other means, there is a cost involved, but its the first time i havent paid for a prescription and was pleasantly surprised. Personally i think its a very good thing to have, especially for people who otherwise wouldnt be able to afford medication. Its horrible being ill, never mind worrying about the cost of paying for the medicines you need.

I know this is kinda late considering it's almost over but happy halloween! Did anyone dress up as anything? I would have but I'm in my high schools musical and I have to be there till 9pm after school this week.(the show is this weekend) grrr…….
At the last minute I changed my costume from generic Mod Girl to Lovely Rita . Which basically means that I just added a name tag, lol.
I had exactly 3 people who knew who Lovely Rita was, and they gave me extra candy for epic costume. Yay!

Psh.. I don't celebrate halloween here. Even if I did, I'd be too lazy to do anything.
Rest In Peace Mary McCartney, she died on the 31st.
What do you mean?
Which part don't you understand? Paul's mom died on the 31st of October, same day as halloween.

she probably thinks you meant Mary, Paul's daughter, who obviously isn't dead, I did for a second and then realized you meant Mary, his mother.

Ah sorry. Didn't make it clear enough.
I found this picture on tumblr:
This was written by Paul when he was “Ten years and ten months” as written on the top right hand corner. I want his handwriting. His handwriting and composition was better than mine when I was ten years and ten months 🙁 He keeps starting sentences with 'But'

Awww. His handwriting is freakishly neat. Look at how everything is lined up so perfectly.
That reminds me somehow of the “Daily Howl.” I think John was about the same age at that point. His handwriting was not so neat!

Two and a Half Men is over. This season will be it – the show was over after Sheen left. Some shows (The Office [US], Mary Tyler Moore) can survive massive star leaving, but a show so centred on one star person, you become screwed.
