I know I literally only post about band stuff here I’m sorry but this is more band stuff. This message is a mess I started crying happy tears halfway through lol.

Tonight I officially became a member of Desoto Central High School’s Varsity Marching Band. I honestly don’t know why this is so emotional to me but it is. This is like the start of my life. I’m finally accomplishing my dreams. Thank you to everyone that has helped me along the way. My mother, my step-father, my grandfather, grandmother, and all of my band directors. As well as the forumpudlians for giving me motivation when I need it most. I’m currently letting out tears of happiness because of how far I have come in life. I’m ready to be a strong and independent person. I love you guys. I love band. Everything I have done in my life has led up to this moment. I’m sure my great grandfather Joseph would be proud of me. “When you’re a teenager will you still sit with me and love me?” He said to me a week before I had to watch him die when I was only 10. Of course pawpaw you have made me the person I am today 🙂 I’m so grateful for everyone who has invested into my life to help get me where I am today. 

It’s weird to think about it. On September 16th, 2023 I will be on a football field in Louisville, Kentucky and the Bands of America Championships. I feel like I’ve grown up too fast. I’m ready though. I have plans for who I will become. We just have to see what happens. 

Let’s celebrate guys. I did it. Life can only go up from here lol. Someone cut the cake lol.

oh boy was i wrong

today was awful in band

drama about me and my director dating started. im not much for drama but director and i could get in legal trouble so i actually care

ew he’s 33 im 14

we got it delt with tho but now im scared to talk to him bc people might get the wrong idea.

im scared of getting in trouble even thought none of this is true. the person that started the drama would get in trouble lol

i have been spiraling since noon and it 10pm now ahhhh

the only thing i can admit to is that i saw my band director as my father. but i still called him Mr. Hart lol. <— this is only bc i grew up without a father and need that figure in my life.

But oh no, we cant have that happening bc apparently i have a crush on him. No. he’s just a parent to me

but not anymore bc ive pissed him off. well it’s not my fault drama started but i was still involved so now i am in this cycle of beating myself up over this.

i’ll shut up now. advice is appreciated.

ive basically ruined my entire life even tho it’s not my fault people thin that way. he yelled at us this morning and said from now on we are not allowed in band hall unless it’s for class. I usually eat lunch in there.

ive ruined the band program and the director is going to remember this. Ive been messaging him like a crazy person and he just leaves me on read. im so f*****g done.

Update: (sorry im posting so much ahhh)

So, I got interrogated. Everything is fine. I’m not in trouble. They will have to tell my mom eventually which im scared for.

Then I talked to my band director about it all and he said we are fine to talk and hangout and to teach eachother new things and talk about our favourite music but we need to keep distance physically. I was quite physically close with him i can admit. so that’s what’s happening now.
