I can remember Paul, back when the original came out (Men Without Hats?), naming that in a couple interviews as one of his favourite current songs.

Also Lizzo has cute teeth. (she just sang “A Change is Gonna Come”)
One of the Jimmys just introduced himself as “one of the Jimmys again, I forget who too,” which I appreciate.

Not sure the most appropriate choice, surely Don’t Stand So Close to Me would have been more fitting.

Billie Eilish just did her bit and I’m glad because hopefully now the rabid Billie stans in the chat might shut up… but I doubt it.

Oof I stopped watching after the Stones so that I can watch Toy Story 4 with the family, so I missed Billie. But I loved Paul’s funky Lady Madonna — I though it was very sweet ; and I loved the Stones, and Elton, and Stevie, and Lizzo was absolutely gorgeous and wonderful as always

Yes, indeed, it is Men Without Hats.

They really missed a trick by not putting up a donate button on all the YouTube videos, people are willing to pay big bucks to get the star comments, makes me wonder how much they actually raised and how much they’ve lost by not planning properly.

But it wasn’t meant to be a fundraiser. They offered routes to donate but the main aim was to entertain, educate and health care workers and others on the frontline around the world.
Their main links were to people signing up to a pledge to stay at home.
The US Networks could have waived their ad breaks for the main two-hour show to make it an uninterrupted two hours but chose not to.
That was the point I was making. First six hours, no ads; last two hours, broadcast on US networks, regular breaks because the US networks wanted their ad revenue from it.
