Offline I was attempting to do homework, but it is proving to be near impossible due to what is going on in the room next to mine. My nine-year-old brother is having his friend over, and the have decided too…wait for it…make an album! They seem to be taking most of their inspiration from Life With The Lions , but some from both Sun King and IATW. Unfortunately, whoever built our house didn’t have this problem, so our walls have no soundproofing whatsoever. And, yes, I tried playing music, but when two nine-year-olds are screaming, there’s only so much you can do. Since I can hear every word they say, here’s a sampling for anyone who’s interested:
This is from the selection they’re currently recording:
“Say hello to my little friend Gojo Man, he’s going to come as fast as he can. Then he will eat your brains and your face, and we won’t discuss where that will all take place. Then Gojo Man will come over to your house and eat it, because he loves the taste of wood and nails and spit…”
Other random lines that stuck in my brain:
“And after my almost-lethal seizure, I got transplanted into an eel’s body…”
“Watch out, the umbrella-baby’s coming for your liver!”
(To the tune of the Thomas The Train theme song): “Tobias the train, Tobias the train, Tobias the train, he’s coming for your brain!”
(The last two sparked a debate over which is more painful: an “umbrella-baby” removing your liver, or a train running you over and then removing your brain).
(To the tune of Mary Had A Little Lamb): “Oh no I am dead now, dead now, dead now, oh no I am dead now, I have to eat a sheep! Yay!”
And it goes on…

Offline Here’s the ending to the story:
After his friend left, I actually had around half an hour to do my homework in peace. But after that, my brother decided it would be a good idea to play What Is Life and Medicine Jar really loudly at the same time. I’m almost positive he meant to annoy me, and it worked. My head still explodes (in a very, very negative way) just thinking about it. I had to go into his room and beg hime to stop, and eventually he did. If he hadn’t, I would have died on the spot (and in a very, very negative way).

For those who collect, what records/albums/LPs do you guys have? I currently have Yesterday and Today (not the butcher cover, sadly, I wish I owned it
), Rubber Soul , The Beatles (White Album ), Sgt. Pepper , MMT, Revolver , and AHDN .

Offline I don’t technically own any Beatles records, but my dad has the big black box set with all the British albums and the American MMT and Past Masters (PPM , With the Beatles, AHDN , Beatles For Sale , Help !, Rubber Soul , Revolver , Sgt Pepper , MMT, The Beatles, Yellow Submarine , Abbey Road , Let It Be , Past Masters ) and the Live At The BBC records. We’re missing Anthology though.

I have that black box of British cd, anthologies, Live At The BBC (both of them, I bought the 2nd one when I was in Santorini, Greece, so that’s a nice memory), the remastered Sgt. Pepper and White, and most everyone of the solo albums from all four. I have some vinyl here and there.

Don’t worry, I can use my tablet up to 10% before putting it in, but sometimes I become really dedicated to doing something (usually when I’m drawing for my arts thread 
) and it goes past that and turns off on me!
