Aww both of you are very sweet (and I told you not to take my place Holey *shakes fist* 😉 ).
To answer your question, I’ve been quite busy helping people do things, whether that be cleaning houses, preparing for exams, and blah blah. I’ve also been organising a lot of travelling that I plan to do in May, June, and July, and they’re all logistic headaches so after 3 hours spent calculating prices I don’t want to go on the forum. A lot of the time I just don’t feel like posting which is quite depressing. I’ve got 2 @s that I need to reply to as well and I know both of them are going to be long answers and my stomach churns even thinking about them (one of them is from 2 months ago I think, so yeah).
I do think of the forum quite a lot (I have a list of about 30 pet peeves bubbling in my mind) but I think I’ll need to be back in Germany again before I start to reappear here.

Well you see, I have the worst luck of anybody in existence when it comes to playing Uno, meaning that me and everyone playing with me inevitably ends up with 363,748,473 cards in their hand, meaning that the game takes FOR FRICKIN EVER and everyone ends with about ten million points. Every once in a while we have to stop a game because there are no cards left to draw and they are all in our hands, yet some unfortunate soul still has not managed to draw a yellow despite their thirty million cards and is completely stuck. Last night we played for hours and still nobody won, we had to stop at eleven or we would have been there all night.
Some friends of mine showed me a way of playing where if you can’t play a card you just draw two cards and it’s the next person’s turn, but we play where you keep drawing cards until you get one you can play, and I am honestly considering a mutiny and demanding that we play that way. because I don’t know how much longer I can stand it

Offline It takes a little more thinking than, say, tetrameter. It’s harder to ‘feel’ it naturally, I find myself having to count the syllables more when I write in pentameter.

Offline My only experience with iambic pentameter was when I had to write a sonnet last year for English class. IIRC I wrote a sonnet about how hard it is to write a poem.
