I was reading the David Bowie thread and I found this post from @Beatlebug that made me laugh out loud:

I tried to get into his music but could not; however, I can appreciate it for its influence and creativity and that. And as meanmistermustard said, Labyrinth is brilliant.

@MattWatchingWheels to upload a photo on mobile click the little paper-clip button:

It should give you this:
Click "Add Files" and choose a picture that you have saved:
Then click "start upload" and it should show up in your post:
When you're uploading pictures on your computer, click the "Attachments" button at the bottom of your reply box and simply drag the picture from your desktop into the box. Click "Start upload" and you should be golden.
Hope this helps.
Love one another.

Oh, Crumb. I have to save each one to directly post them?
Welp, links it is for me I guess. I'd do it but im too lazy to save each one and remember to delete them. Though I guess you could argue I should have a Beatles folder if I call myself a fan, but then....my god, i'd never stop. Think of the terabytes, fiddy! THE TERABYTES!!

Lol, if I don't save a picture in one of my many meticulously organized Beatles folders, I just chuck it in the trash right away. It only takes a couple seconds, like so:
I find the picture I want online:
I put it on my desktop:
I post it:
I dispose of it. Simple as that.
(and before anyone yells at me for throwing away a picture of George, I already have this one saved 😉 )

That was a long time ago. If I recall, I also said something similar about Queen, which, while I'm not as Queen-mad (yet?) as I am mad for Bowie, I also later redacted.
Just goes to show that I never like anything until I've brainwashed myself into liking it over years and years/I'm always wrong about these things. I've learnt, now, to never rule anything out completely, but always leave open the possibility that I may change my mind later.

That's made me laugh so much, imagining young Beatlebug resolutely deciding they weren't into Bowie, blissfully unaware of the coming obsession I know how you feel, I had a similar thing with a couple artists like Pink Floyd where I just could not get into them for ages and wrote them off before the appeal suddenly hit me.

Just curious, why 'they'?
I had no choice but to love Pink Floyd. I was brainwashed from an early age.
Also when I was like six (before the Beatles changed everything ) I used to think that I was 'not a rock and roll person', and also that I would probably never be a guitarist in a rock band. We know how that ended up.

The problem with just linking to photos is that when the source picture is taken offline or the url for it changes, then we have blank spots on the forum where pictures used to be. Using the forum attachment feature is the preferred method if you can use it if at all possible.

Do you identify as a Leo or Virgo? I am so glad my sign didn't change.

I'm more of a Virgo, I think. I was always quite happy to be a Virgo.

Watched Bohemian Rhapsody with my parents. We chose the so-called "karaoke version", but none of the audience sang.
Edit: My parents were discussing Queen reunion afterwards, then I ended up telling them how the Beatles split up. 🙁
