Oh god, the PACER test *shudders*

We still have to do that stuff in high school PE classes, and we've been doing it since late elementary school/early middle school. My scores were always low compared to everyone else (like 20-30 laps), but really high compared to the other girls in my class, who gave up after 10 or 15.

I always drop out pretty early because I have approximately zero endurance, normally I can make it to 30-40, even though I'm half dead at the end. But most of the girls can do at least sixty and if you try to drop out before thirty the teachers force you to keep running.

Love one another.

YES YES YES I get that all the time!!! So annoying!!!

I would love to stop at like thirty but the teachers LITERALLY WILL NOT LET YOU. Unless you're dying from an asthma attack or something they will FORCE you to keep running. No joke. It's terrible.

Ummmm that's not healthy... Pushing to the limit is ok, but going past it is unacceptable. Unsafe teaching, your PE teacher(s) need their licences revoked. They are supposed to teach you how to go past thirty, not say 'no keep going'. Crap teaching.

I was reading through some old pages in the BB House thread and I found this:

PE should be fun. When it ceases to be fun it’s a problem. I like tennis, mini golf, canoeing and those types of things but rarely get the opportunity to do them really. So I’m gaming most of the time, creative writing and listening to music.

What Queen songs do you guys hear on the radio.

Here in the US, it's always these 10 songs:

Another One Bites The Dust

Bohemian Rhapsody

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Killer Queen

Fat Bottomed Girls (interestingly, it's often the album version)

Under Pressure

We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions (always paired together)

Somebody To Love

You're My Best Friend

Some good songs in there but some variety would be nice. Also, some interesting things like how Bicycle Race is never played but it's B-side is.

Is this list different for you non-Americans (or even for you fellow Americans)?

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

yes me too exercise is the bane of my existence, I walk the dog but that's it. PE was fun in elementary school when we had an awesome teacher and all we did was play games, but it sucked in middle school and it sucks even more now. All we ever do is run and go to the weight room.

Oh and DO I don't think i've ever heard a Queen song on the radio. Then again I'm probably not listening to the right stations.

Love one another.

It's usually

Another One Bites The Dust

Bohemian Rhapsody

Killer Queen

We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions

Somebody To Love

You're My Best Friend

for me, so basically the same thing but less variety.
