I want to know more about this band and the career of John and Yoko,

Jimi Hendrix’s name is listed in Wikipedia Beside this band, why?

Thank you

The drummer (I think) was from Jimi Hendrix Experienced, I think that’s why? It was a supergroup for one night, nothing much to say about it really…

The Dirty Mac was not really a band.  The Rolling Stones decided to make a TV show called Rock n’ Roll circus.  Obviously, the Stones knew and were friends with the other top rock performers of the time, so they invited Eric Clapton, John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix’s drummer Mitch Mitchell to perform.  Rolling Stone Keith Richards played bass.  They only performed one song (“Yer Blues “) and never played together again.

Almost. They actually performed two tracks, a couple of takes of the aforementioned Yer Blues and, with the addition of Ivry Gitlis, they backed Yoko on Whole Lotta Yoko.
