Definitely a real thing, @50yearslate, rather than an elaborate joke.

The only new show I’ve watched this year is Cocomelon. It’s absolutely horrible, but also strangely mesmerizing and calming. The star of the show is a baby. He only has two teeth so he can’t be more than eight months, but he can talk, walk, swim, ride a bike and eat bologna sandwiches. Truly amazing.

I’d never viewed ” Parks and Recreation” during its original to 2009-2017 run, but found it very enjoyable last year. Not a perfect sitcom, too many redundant one joke characters… but Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson are among the finest farcical sitcom characters I’ve ever loved, wonderfully funny performances there

Couldn’t tell you what’s new on tv. The only new programme I’ve watched in a long time is ‘Taskmaster’.

Absolutely. These two would be my favourite shows from 2020. Can’t think of much else, apart from rewatching old stuff.

I watched this for the first time during (first) lockdown and really enjoyed it – post season 2.

I’m now giving Arrested Development a go for the first time, I’m about 3 eps in. Anyone have any recommendations for any other sitcoms along these lines?

YES!!! Parks and Rec is my favorite show, I love it so much ahdn_george_08

and @kelicopter if you liked Parks and Rec I would recommend my new second-favorite show, Schitt’s Creek. It can take a few episodes to get into it, and the humor is of a slightly different style, but it’s so very good and I love it dearly.

That I can recall because last year seemed to last forever, Sex Education and The Queens Gambit. Both are fantastic in different ways, but The Queens Gambit mesmerized me.

Heyo! I have no clue on which thread to ask this question (lol) so it’s going to be here. Are there any other interesting incidents (or drama and stuff like that) that happened here other than the ones listed in the BB history thread? I’m kind of intrigued on what had happened here before since well I’m still new. Hehe maybe there’s even some infamous usersa-hard-days-night-john-6? Eh I don’t know. Anyways, if anyone were to respond, thanks!

Maybe the walrus is the friends we made along the way

People talk about an old time here where people were bickering about who sang the “Ahhhs” in A Day In The Life — was it John or was it Paul?  I’m not sure what year that was. I think I went back to read some of it — it’s very long and lots of arguments. People got emotional!  I’m a “John sang it” guy.

Don’t even start. I want even around then, and I saw how it got lol. (But yeah you’re right John sang it)

Am listening to A Day In The Life right now and it sure does sound like him. I even saw one of the comments on the song say that George sang that part.

Maybe the walrus is the friends we made along the way
