Offline I have been to England twice (and both only last year, quite embarrassing as I live about a 40 minute plane ride away). Of those 2 times, I’ve been to Liverpool once and I never did a write-up for it so I should get around to that.
I’m in London two times this year for a day this month (to say goodbye to Les Mis and its original staging), and then for 4 days in September with my brother.

Hm…not consciously, no. But slide guitars do feel somewhat ‘greasy’, the sound of lubricated fingers sliding up and down the guitar neck. I don’t think it’s that odd a query!

Offline I’m with Holey, is the one I use the most, by far. Besides the noted multifunctionality, I just find the image itself appealing, obviously. (Green is my favourite colour.) Plus since I like apples, it makes for simple posts on the “What are you eating?” thread!
Other ones I frequently rely on are saluting John, showbiz-grin John, Chief Blue Meanie, and enigmatic Yoko. I’ve used maybe 2/3 of the available ones at various times, when they’re most appropriate. (GM if I’m talking about classical music, Stu for art, etc.) Several of the AHDN ones I find too vague and blurry to be of any personal use; conversely, the Pattie and Billy ones look so good that I regret the lack of opportunities to employ them.
