Offline Much thanks to Zig. I didn’t wind up doing very much today, but my friends and I celebrated yesterday by watching Yellow Submarine of course. One of my friends has the new dvd with the cells and everything, and the movie looks a lot clearer.

Great to know. I just bought my copy yesterday and will watch it in a couple of weeks when I am on vacation. I just watched my old DVD last weekend and I want to put some time between viewings.

A man who achieved so much and had such an impact. At one point his acts (eg beatles, billy J, cilla, gerry and the pacemakers) were dominating the charts. He took a punt on a band when he had no experience in managing and together they conquered the world (and the reason he took the punt – he thought they were damn good and believed in them).
