Time for a game!
This is The Baker’s Dozen. It’s a fairly common internet forum game, and the rules are simple:
I will start with a topic which requires a list that goes to 13. One person at a time copies-and-pastes the list and adds something to the list. Whoever hits #13 gets to choose the next topic.
The rules:
1. You can’t go more than once at a time. You CAN, however post more than once as long as it’s not back-to-back.
2. Any disputes to the list are decided by majority.
3. Lists are based on FACTS only, not opinions.
Here’s an example. I start with the topic (for simplicity) “Name a color”:
I type “1. Red”
The next person copys, pastes and add the next item, so it looks like this:
NAME A COLOR
1. Red
2. Beige
And then the next person copies everything (including the topic) and puts down #3.
And so on until someone lists #13. At that point, they can pick a new topic or let someone else pick one.
Next post, and we begin!
There will be a bit of a learning curve, as people learn the rules. But once everyone gets it, it’s fun.

I’ve gonna allow the Stephen Harper one… He’s the Prime Minister of Canada, for those of you who don’t know. He’s pretty much an emotionless stuffed shirt, but he did once play a very sweet version of “WaLHfMF” on piano onstage. Look for it on YouTube.
