It's not a sport, but I trained in Taekwondo until June, job schedules made me quit. Now, that I'm not training, I'm so fat I could play sumo…

I want to start aikidou in January.

I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

Please. You can medal in Tae Kwon Do in the Olympics. It's a sport. 🙂 (More of one than Calvinball, broomball, or Quidditch is, anyways.)

I hear there are now Quidditch teams at some colleges now.

We have a Quidditch team at my highschool. But I believe they are quite inactive right now.

My only real strength in sports is flexibleity. But I don't see how putting your leg behind your head, or being able to do a split, helps much.

Flexibility helps you move more quickly by improving your range of motion.

I'm about as flexible as a pencil.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Detroit won the Cup in '02, Evan. (I THINK it was 4 games to 1 but I'd have to look that up…)

Okay, I'm pretty sure that before I went to bed, M3 and Evan were on about 970 and 955. How are you on 1042?!

You just slept for a really long time.

I'd like to be, under the sea, in an octopus's garden, with you.

You people amaze me – how many posts do you make each day, on average?!  Even with both my avatars I'm only at about 600. I'd be jealous, if not for the fact that there's no stupider reason to be jealous of anything!

(Yeah, I know it's not a competition…)

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Both avatars? And who else might you be? 🙂

I'm wondering if a bunch of posters know each other in real life and use this to talk to each other as well as talk about the Beatles. Having long conversations with someone would certainly bump up one's post count.

I play track, soccer, softball, waterpolo, and crew/surf club in the summer. I play a different sport every season plus a different year-round soccer club on the side.

I'm actually a member in my highschool's “Quidditch Guild”. We don't play Quidditch with robes or broomsticks or anything, but it's kind of like this really fun mix of lacrosse and basketball. It sounds a bit dorky, but it's loads of fun. a-hard-days-night-john-1

No, not at all! All your posts are usually funny and creative, and I always know its a good thread when you post on it. So stop worrying about it!

I play basketball (I'm particularly talented with the position of 'bench&#39a-hard-days-night-george-10 and sometimes tennis.

But my favorite sport would have to be web-surfing.

Outside of school, I don't do any sport any more. I referee football (soccer), and I get paid £40 for a morning's work (that's about $200 US).a-hard-days-night-ringo-5

In school, I enjoy basketball and rugby. I play tight head prop (I stand at the front of the scrum and hit the guy opposite me, then do some running and shouting). I also like watching football- I support Reading FC, who are in the Championship (just below the Premiership). I don't really like playing it, but when I do I usually play left or right back (I stand on the edge of the pitch and watch fast people run past me, and take throw ins).

I told her I didn’t
