The Masks by Death (recorded between 1974 and 1976, released 2011) has a melody that’s almost exactly the same as the verse melody from Got To Get You Into My Life . Otherwise, it doesn’t sound Beatley at all.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

Does anybody think Hold Me Tight (the solo Paul one; starting at 0:57ish) sounds a little like the original Thomas the Tank Engine theme song, or is it just me?
Absotively and posilutely. I’ve always thought that since I was a kid.

Also, in With a Little Luck, the full version, the synth bit sounds a lot like the Thomas theme too. I always thought that Paul did it as a tribute to Ringo who voice the series in the early 80’s.
I just drove myself insane trying to find that but but it seems that ALL the version of With a Little Luck that I have in my library are the “DJ Edit” and so I spent some time going through a load of songs thinking I had remembered it wrong. Wikipedia provided the answer and then YouTube provided the full version:
There are two versions of the song: the full version, which runs 5:45, and a promotional radio edit version, which runs 3:13 (as it cuts out, among other things, the entire instrumental interlude). The full-length version is included on Wings Greatest and the UK & Canada version of All the Best!, while the radio edit appears on Wingspan and the US version of All the Best!

Sorry, just so you know, I know that the dates don;t match and so Paul couldn’t have done this as a tribute to Ringo. I was being slightly facetious and then remembered that it’s the internet and that things like that don’t really work.
