Had quite a nice moment yesterday where Blow Away randomly popped into my head on my walk home from college whilst looking up at the cloudy sky. I hadn't listened to it in a while so here I am enjoying it all over again ahdn_george_08

Funny you should say that, CakeMaestor, as I've had Bowie's original stuck in my head all day. a-hard-days-night-george-9

@Beatlebug Life certainly is interesting. I did woke up this morning with this rendition playing in my head.

Currently speaking, I am on a jam listening to Pink Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother ":

All this talk of the 2000 remixes of the John Lennon albums and religion in Beatles songs has got my ears yearing for this audio experience.

Christmas is only more than a month away, so I am currently in quite the Christmas mood. Just thought I'd share one of my favorite adaptions of one of my favorite hymns.

This is "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" performed by the Oxford Trinity Choir

Great choice. John’s demos are better than finished works, he just needed his voice!

@Beatlebug I was expecting you to post the link to his Little Drummer Boy with Bing Crosby instead. I'll admit that is one of my favourite Christmas songs. ahdn_george_08

I just posted what I was listening to at the time, which led me onto a 'Sunday' and 'Heathen (The Rays)' (David Bowie) kick because... oops of course it did mccartney-shrug_01_gif

Possibly my favorite Bowie song. I don't really get why this song is so overlooked.

That is another great one. I especially love the part where Bowie almost raps beginning in the second verse..

Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourites, too. It's so futuristic, and you can really hear the Kraftwerk influence.
