I was just wondering if anyone else on this forum has seen this little gem of a musical movie? But I would like to caution you all, it's a very crude, gruesome movie.

Even though it's such a different type of movie, it's an absolutely amazing movie. The actors are some surprisingly big names (and all of them can sing pretty darn well too.) and the music is amazing. The characters are deep, dark, and interesting. But I think the website for it describes it best, A Rocky Horror meets Bladerunner rock opera/ movie musical.

If you want to read up on it some more here's the wiki page and the website for it.

A good short discription of the plot.

In the year 2056 – the not so distant future – an epidemic of organ
failures devastates the planet. Out of the tragedy, a savior emerges:
GeneCo, a biotech company that offers organ transplants, for a price.
Those who miss their payments are scheduled for repossession and hunted
by villainous Repo Men. In a world where surgery addicts are hooked on
painkilling drugs and murder is sanctioned by law, a sheltered young
girl searches for the cure to her own rare disease as well as
information about her family's mysterious history. After being sucked
into the haunting world of GeneCo, she is unable to turn back, as all of
her questions will be answered at the wildly anticipated spectacular
event: The Genetic Opera.

Wow! Sarah Brightman  is in this movie?

This sounds like one of those movies where the premise is scary, but I can kind of see it actually happening at some point in the future.

I also forgot to say that the music can easily get stuck in your head. I've actually had Zydrate Anatomy stuck in my head most of the day.

Damn, I was thinking “Don't tell me they've finally made a musical version of Repo Man“!

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

(Just had to try out the new Yoko smiley to see whether this present computer will allow me to post 'em, which it will, unlike either of the other two I use. So it's my settins that is the problem, not my account(s))

Haha, no. This came before Repo Man and it was actually a stage musical first I think.
