There’s always a time for everything.
My name is Gerard, I am sometimes called Gerell, a portmanteau of my first name. I introduce myself as Gerard to other people so only the people that knew me back when I referred to myself as Gerell, call me such.
I’m a music aficionado with audiophile needs.
I am a Whovian.
I love panel shows.

This thread is for people coming back from a long hiatus, people who’ve changed since they first joined…
MMM!!! What a thrill it is to see your avatar again!
I had to do a double take at the date of the post to make sure it wasn’t from 2 years ago.
Now, I can remove the number 2782 from the bottom of my signature.

I haven’t been away from here, anyway, I’ll keep it brief
Am Emily, from a town called Sutton Coldfield near to Birmingham in the West Midlands, England.
I got into The Beatles about 18 months ago now and my life has changed completely, for the better, of course.
Hope to study Psychology once I leave school (2 years) at Chester University, preferably. Chester is 30 min. from Liverpool BONUS!!!
Parents think I spend a bit too much time on here haha (I don’t think so).
Spend my afternoons listening to music (I listen to lot’s and lot’s of different styles of music/artists), practising guitar, baking and, above all, doing coursework.

Re-introducing, because I’m procratinating (I should be studying right now):
I’m Linde (yep as in Lindentree, except for the tree and the N part). I just turned 19 one and a half week ago. I’m from Holland and currently I’m following adult education, as I failed my pre-university exams last year. I’ve signed in to study social work.
My best subjects are English and Civics, my worst is Maths. Absolutely. I just hate it so much.
Erm..about a month ago I started working at a supermarket, since I’ve got plenty of time since school is only 2 days a week.
I can enjoy almost every genre of music but my faves are rock, folk and metal.
Favourite foods are pizza and sushi and my favourite colour is burgundy red.
Around people I don’t know well I can be quite shy and I’m also a very insecure person. I always want to please everyone and that sometimes brings me into awful situations.
My hobbies are reading, drawing, shopping and hanging out with friends. I love partying and booze and stuff but I can also just go for a picknick and have a great time.
I was practically raised on music such as the Beatles, Queen and stuff like that. I was always especially fond of the Beatles, and a few years ago I started to listen more to their music and became fascinated with them. And then I found this forum after a while

Oh, now I get it.
Yeah, I added those numbers to my signature hoping they would act as a sort of ‘Bat Signal’ luring them back to the Forum. It worked with MeanMrsMustard, so I’m hoping for the same result with skye and mr. Sun king coming together. There are a lot more folks I would love to see back around here as well, but I will start with the first 3 and see how that goes.

Look at who started this thread, and when. MeanMrsMustard is back! And hopefully not just for the one day.

Whenever I see Linde, I think of the famous American comedian Paul Lynde (tragically died before his time — 1982, at the age of 56). Even young people who never saw him during his heyday in the 70s can (and do) easily dial up YouTubes of his appearances on the game show Hollywood Squares occupying his prestigious post as the “center square”. His one-liners and zingers still bring a grin to my face.

That wasn’t random at all… but I’ll look him up.
If you’re into ‘toons, he was also the voice of Templeton the rat in the 70s Charlotte’s Web movie and the Hooded Claw in Penelope Pitstop.
