My kids have been raised without religion by two lefty agnostic punks. I claim significantly less than 50% responsibility for how well they have turned out – all praise and credit to Mrs. Ramon, a remarkable woman. We do work very hard to try to give them a sense of place in the world and responsibility to do what they instinctively know is right.
Santa helped, but only a little. The Easter Bunny, well she was no help at all. And don’t get me started on that Tooth Fairy…

Offline Here’s a new topic, what do you think should happen to people after they die. For me, I don’t give a f**k about dead people and think that they’re worth s**t, so I believe that proper burials are stupid as hell and if I found a dead body in the woods, I would steal it’s clothes, as well as everything on it because they can’t do jack s**t with it once their dead. I believe that after you die, your loved ones should be able to take all of your possessions and you should be fed to vultures, lions, and or starving people in 3rd world countries who have nothing else to eat. Proper burials are stupid and a waste of money and they do some dumbass things, such as paying big bucks for a coffin and embalmment. Cremation is fine by me, although there are lions, vultures, and starving 3rd world country citizens who are missing out on some good food, but then again, they’ll find other ways to survive. This may sound wrong, but remember that once you’re dead, your body is worthless.

I’d donate my body to something good if I were to die. As far as my possessions, I’d make a will I guess, but it wouldn’t matter to me becuase I can’t take any of that to the afterlife.

Offline I am going to have as much of me cut out and donated to whoever needs it when I die, might as well use what they can before it rots. Possession-wise I don’t care, I keep getting told I should have a will made but don’t have the interest in doing so. As for funeral etc, I don’t care as I am dead; throw me in the sea and let the fish have a good feed.
As for others, that is up to them. If you mean what do I believe happens to them like Heaven etc I have no idea. Who can say for definite?

Hardly, dead bodies can be used for science. And eating dead people is unhealthy.

Offline Cannibalism is unhealthy, but it can also save your life and if I were a starving African and I was given human flesh, I’d dig in, would you. I think feeding a dying nation is better way to use your body than letting some losers find out that injecting a 20 something’s balls into a 70 something will make them physically better.
