It took me a minute to figure out that jewel cases were the annoying plastic ones. I imagined some fancy case studded with diamonds.

^Took me ages to learn those annoying plastic cases had a name, and such a euphemistic one at that.

Pet peeve of the day: Apple products.
I hate 'em. Fecking special snowflakes, with their own special snowflake plug-in ports and wires and app store and iTunes* and software and login ID and keyboard shortcuts and everything else, too! I don't like Windows much either, but at least you don't have to have an alternate software or special interface for e v e r y t h i n g (and as far as mobile goes, Googleopoly can own my soul any day as long as I get that sweet Android).
*after hearing @meanmistermustard's numerous syncing horror stories, I won't touch it with a ten foot pole. All my music's on my (sweet sweet Googleopolized) Android phone anyway.

^That's your fault for buying a Mac, you have no one to blame but yourself 😉
WRONG! My Macintosh was given to me by my aunt, and I needed a computer for schoolwork, otherwise I would never have found myself in this position. Beggars can't be choosers, but we can complain. Also, part of my ire came from having to help my mother with something involving her Apple products (she's one of Ye Dirty iPhone/iPad Users, alas).

Apple is great if you accept it for what it is, try not to do anything out with its massive limits and are willing to put up with it failing as soon as they think of a new better idea.
I fail to see what's so great about it.

My comment was deep sarcasm. I was saying it works if you do nothing strenuous, try to do anything new and/or Apple doesn't add any new features/upgrade.
I use Apple as my music is well organised and that keeps me there as I cannot be bothered moving it across risking disturbance. It's not because it's brilliant or their products are well priced.

1. Seems like a lot of work, I’ve tried removing the booklets before and it drives me to insanity every time
It can be a bit tricky sometimes, depending on the case, but it's definitely something you can get a hang of. You've just got be careful, is all.
2. Where does one get a replacement case?!?
I got mine at a place called Memory Express, which specializes in computers and other electronics, but I don't know if they're Canada-only or not. Just in case,* I looked on Amazon, and it looks like you can get different types and quantities there.

I've spent two days looking for my fancy pen and, having pretty much given up, I've ordered a new similar one.
I've just found the pen on my kitchen worktop next to the toaster in plain view.
I'm convinced someone follows me around and moves things about as a joke.

I've been saying this before and I've been saying this afterwards. Why is my dad's former job Ingalls (and another naval shipyard Austal) still open?! Ingalls consist of at least 15k+ employees! The Navy says building the ships are essential right now. I don't see how given that several of the military bases are shut down; furthermore, living in tight living quarters on a ship during this virus would not be wise.

Ugh every time I make a nice, fresh cup of tea, I'll take a few sips and then get sucked into whatever I'm doing and then forget about my lovely tea for a while and then it gets cold! And then I'm too lazy to reheat it, so I just have to drink weirdly cold Earl Grey......
Huh, I guess this is a pet peeve mostly with myself Maybe I should set a timer that alerts me when I need to take my next sip of tea before it gets cold.....or install a heating system in my desk......
Oh!, and another tea-related pet peeve: when the bag is faulty and leaks loose leaves all into your tea and then you don't realize it and on the last few sips you feel the uneasy texture of wet leaves going into your mouth and down your throat. Yuck!

I have this same problem except with Abbey Road shirts. Every time I see someone wearing a Beatles shirt around my school, 99% of the time it's an Abbey Road shirt! This one time, I approached a girl wearing one and asked her what her fave song off the album was and she just shrugged and said: "I've never listened to them I'm just wearing this shirt because my boyfriend likes them." Which, okay, props for supporting your boyfriend but like at least listen to the band before wearing their shirt or maybe at least listen to them to support your boyfriend.

Yep, I see a lot of Abbey Road stuff too. I'd rather have White Album , Rubber Soul or Revolver gear on.
